Kristi Noem’s Warning for the GOP

Jan 11, 2021

RUSH: Now, I mentioned Kristi Noem, the governor of South Dakota. She had a piece in The Federalist. I’m gonna read to you an excerpt. “Republicans got our butts kicked in Georgia on Tuesday. A 33-year-old with no accomplishments and a smooth-talking [communist] preacher wiped the floor with us. The idea that Georgia, of all places, could elect two communists to the United States Senate was ridiculous.

“Our country has changed. We have failed to educate generations of our children about what makes America unique.” Amen. “Few, if any of them, have been taught the history of our decades-long fight to defeat communism.” Amen to that. We’ve not taught younger generations the truth about communism for 50 years — well, 25 years, minimum. “Meanwhile, the left’s indoctrination takes place every day with kids all across America from the time they walk into a school at age 5 to the time they graduate college at 22. Republicans have not been disciplined enough to do the hard work. The American people need us to fight for them on a daily basis, not just 30 to 60 days before an election.”

She’s right, but I think it goes way beyond that. Like we’ve been discussing, the Republicans have been told what their place is. And it’s a place where they have security and safety and limited opportunities for their kids but better than they would have otherwise, so they’ve accepted the deal.

Here’s Robert in Philadelphia. Robert, glad you called, and great to have you with us on the program. Hello. Oh, wait, Robert, before — look. I got a sound bite that I want you to hear, just hang on, Robert. This is the mayor of Washington, D.C., Muriel Bowser. She had a press conference this afternoon, and this was the upshot of it.

BOWSER: Our goals right now are to encourage Americans to participate virtually and to protect the District of Columbia from a repeat of the violent insurrection experienced at the Capitol and it’s grounds on January the 6th.

RUSH: She’s talking about Plugs’ inauguration. She doesn’t want anybody showing up, folks. ‘Cause they might go to the Capitol. They’re gonna be there anyway. They might rip it apart. So doesn’t want anybody doing that. She wants a virtual inauguration. They’re gonna make his presidency as virtual as the campaign was. You know, that’s what they’re gonna do.

Plugs’ presidency is gonna be virtual. We’re never gonna see the guy out. He’s been hidden for years. They’re gonna keep him hidden. They’re gonna keep him hidden until it’s time for him to go. After they’ve kept him hidden for a while and it’s time for him to go, but up ’til then it’s gonna be a virtual presidency.

Okay, Robert, Philadelphia. Glad you waited. I appreciate your patience. Hello, sir.

CALLER: Well, I sure wish they did virtual rioting here in Philadelphia, because I watched that stuff go down, and it’s really sad, including flipping cars upside down and setting them on fire.

RUSH: G-nay. I agree with you.

CALLER: — Joe Biden’s campaign headquarters, and he never said anything about it. That’s not why I called. This is nothing but a cyber coup.

RUSH: Cyber coup.

CALLER: Cyber coup.

RUSH: Cyber coup.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: Wait, wait, wait. Who is the victim?

CALLER: Oh, well, the —

RUSH: Trump?

CALLER: America, really.

RUSH: America is the victim of the cyber coup. Okay.

CALLER: Well, look what Trump did. Just like that you said, you went down that list. You went down a list of all the terrific things he did, and now what are we gonna do? I mean, Big Tech was blamed by the Democrats for allowing him or giving him a platform to, you know, become popular. And they pulled out. And between that and the voting machines being connected to the internet, which is, like, crazy, it was just nothing but a cyber coup. And, by the way, can I ask you a question, Rush?

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: How come when Madonna says she’s gonna blow up the White House, she doesn’t get her Twitter account taken down.

RUSH: Look.

CALLER: I’m pretty sure there would be guys outside my door in five minutes if I said that on the radio.

RUSH: It’s not complicated. Look. It matters the jersey you’re wearing. It matters what color jersey you’re wearing. It matters what team you’re on. For crying out loud, how can you ask me that? We just had eight months of the Democrats burning down their own cities, to the applause of Democrat leaders. No condemnation. So here comes Madonna threatening to blow up the White House. That’s chump change.

Absolutely. Those of you with children and grandchildren under the age of 40 probably can attest to this. The public schools' version of a history and civics education has been a cheap imitation.

The ONLY way that we as a country are going to survive is IF we can re-educate our children and also make sure that history is not erased.

I posted a picture of the cover of Harris on Vogue (VP Fashions), I wasn't as alarmed by her wearing sneakers with a suit as I was alarmed by the headline "The New America".

History books of 'yesterday' have been destroyed.  History continues to be erased and rewritten.  We have witnessed the destruction of historical statues and monuments; that is erasing history.

Trump did say that he was going to make a 'historical national park' but that endeavor will never get under way now.

Glenn Beck was working on a project to try to preserve historical monuments and the reintroduction of truthful history.

It now starts at home; teaching are kids and grandkids the truth.  I would encourage people to start buying history books before they aren't available.  Any type of history book that you may have at home -- by all means save them!

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Rules

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Kristi Noem:
"Republicans got our butts kicked in Georgia on Tuesday. A 33-year-old with no accomplishments and a smooth-talking [communist] preacher wiped the floor with us. The idea that Georgia, of all places, could elect two communists to the United States Senate was ridiculous."

I'm on record in the forum with my near-total disapproval of women for positions of governmental power.

Ms. Noem could be that rare exception.
She is openly addressing the other side for who they are and what they believe:
communists.

How many other "Republicans" are doing that (publicly)?
How many members OF THIS FORUM are willing to do that...?
