We just had an election that was not seen as credible by much of the public, followed by an assault on the capitol for the same reason, and Congress responds by making the election process LESS credible for next time.

I'd add troops to protect the capitol.

Every single American should be OUTRAGED by this:

Democrats just voted to ban voter ID nationwide and force every state to permanently expand mail-in voting.

Attorneys are filing a lawsuit against Albuquerque Public Schools for keeping schools closed for in-person instruction.

They're calling for the district to allow its 90,000 students to take their education dollars elsewhere.

No $2,000 stimulus checks, but Biden did destroy women's sports, end thousands of union jobs, jack up the price of gas, and cancel Dr. Seuss!

The DOJ at work, ladies and gentlemen, dismissing felony charges for communist agitators “with prejudice.”

In case you’re wondering about our two-tiered justice system.

So far, 34 of 90 cases have quietly been dismissed by the U.S. Dept. of Justice- including both misdemeanor and felony charges. https://kgw.com/article/news/investigations/portland-protest-cases-dismissed-feds/283-002f01d2-3217-4b12-8725-3fda2cad119f

The most important issue to GOP voters is halting immigration - so naturally GOP politicians are working on amnesty bills because they answer only to the big donors.

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) suggests an amnesty plan for millions of illegal aliens could be unveiled "probably next week."

About 10 of my friends who attended Trump’s speech but DID NOT go to Capitol building thereafter have had the FBI turn up at their door to ask them why they went to D.C

This is criminal intimidation. Our FBI is trying to scare conservatives against ever gathering in the future.

You're not alone @mountaineer   -- this is all over Al Gore's amazing Internet.  But, as usual, nothing is done about it.  Speech after speech at CPAC talked about this ... angry voices, pointing fingers.  But, Congress (GOP) is just not having any of it.

It's infuriating.

I've mentioned that a friend of ours was there. He was with a former coworker in the IT field who currently has gov't contracts. They listened to Trump's speech and walked toward the Capitol, but did not attempt to enter - they only were nearby. Our friend's buddy was scared to death that facial recognition would nail him and he'd lose his job, so the two of them skedaddled. So far, I don't believe the feds have come after them. Fingers crossed.

Liberals acting like elitist bigots?  Who saw that coming?

Pelosi: The issue about the National Guard is one that will be made by the Capitol Police and the police board and the rest. But I'm not in a position to respond to that. But We should have them here as long as they are needed.

I think this is amusing.  Either Dems are so stupid to think putting Biden t-shirts on illegal immigrants is a good idea, or some enterprising Republican supplied the shirts.  I'm hoping for the latter.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
