I've been spectator of this stuff for many years, so probably not many surprises.  I expect I'll start getting irritated when I begin attending the biannual State GOP executive meetings.  Maricopa County people will be there, but I'll be on equal footing with them in that venue.  Kelli Ward told me I need to go to those to ensure HER County gets represented.  She's the State Chairman (who will likely be reelected this month), and she's from Lake Havasu City, just down the Colorado River from me.

The tools for tolerance I learned here will serve me well.

Interesting factoid.

Dr. Kelli Ward is (unlike Dr. Jill Biden) a real honest to goodness medical Dr. and deserving of the title when addressed.

Actually I have been critical of the tendency of people on the right to watch from the sidelines and not getting involved.  congratulations! Hope others complain of vote fraud look into becoming poll watchers. Get involved, or if you don’t like the quality of candidate, run yourselves!

Which is my worst enemy.  My wife has prodded me to get active politically, run for local office on utility commissions, etc.

And that, my friend, is the difference between a Party Office and a Public Office.  In the County in which I live, that's not as much of a problem because the electorate is 3:1 GOP, one of the reddest Counties in the nation.  We like blunt talk.

Oh, population is 250-300K, with 145,000 registered voters.  Mohave County is 13,312 square miles.

Same here.  People don't want to hear things like "that isn't the government's job" or "we shouldn't be borrowing money to pay for that".

Hey, all y'all...just be a Precinct Committeeman!  Find the Director or Chairman from your district and get yourself appointed, you don't even need to run.  Once you're appointed, it's easy to do what's necessary to get elected.  Then you can affect the policies for your district.

No need to face anybody other than fellow PCs, where they won't care what kind of an A-hole you are!  Trust me!  I can be one too!
