Like the other two special operators who pleaded guilty in 2019 — former Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer Adam C. Matthews and former Marine Raider Staff Sgt. Kevin Maxwell Jr. — Stackhouse maintained DeDolph never intended to injure Melgar
Of course he didn't. He strangled the man to death accidentally. Who amongst us HASN'T accidentally strangled someone to death?</sarcasm>
The Navy in November 2018 charged DeDolph, Matthews, Maxwell, and another Marine Raider, Gunnery Sgt. Mario Madera-Rodriguez, with a series of crimes including felony murder, involuntary manslaughter, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, hazing and burglary for their roles in Melgar’s death.
Ahhh, now an accidental burglary! Once again, who amongst us hasn't accidentally burgled a teammate or co-worker after strangling him to death accidentally?
After all, boys WILL be boys, and who better defines "boys" than USMC gunnery sgts? Nothing to see here, just boys being boys,so lets move on,ok?
The attorney said DeDolph agreed as part of the plea deal not to profit from “publication or dissemination of information,†such as a book deal while he is imprisoned, should he be sentenced to confinement. Stackhouse also said DeDolph had no plans to write a book or profit from his time as a SEAL.
That's awful "white" of him. I did NOT note it being said anywhere that there would be actual restrictions from him doing so if he changed his mind.
In other words, one the dust settles, look for a book and/or movie contract to be signed.
Maxwell also testified the plan was to culminate in a “sexual molestation†of Melgar captured on video.
Of course homosexual rape was a part of the plan. After all,SEALS ARE sailors, and what could be more traditional than homosexual rape?
