The Army is investigating the death of a Fort Bliss soldier who was found unresponsive in her barracks room on New Year’s Eve.

Pfc. Asia M. Graham, 19, was found unresponsive on Thursday and later pronounced dead by Fort Bliss Department of Emergency Service personnel, according to a Fort Bliss press release. Graham, from Cherryville, N.C., was a human resources specialist assigned to the 1-501st Attack Battalion, 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade.

The circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation, though a statement from Fort Bliss on Monday said foul play is not suspected.
