I don't think people realize what a lost opportunity Trump leaving office is. He's the first American President we've had in a long time.

I don't disagree.  Trump will viewed be a tragic figure,  brought down by his own obsessions.   But you're right, he coulda been a contender.   Much has been lost.

You are so FOS.   Seriously.... I don't know how anyone could take ANYthing you say as credible.   You are all over the map while bashing Trump, and now this.  You stand for NOTHING.  Troll much?

No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

I have consistently supported the thrust of his policies and his big idea for expanding the GOP.   That is the legacy he should have fought for as worthy of preservation.   Instead he threw it all away,  and history will view him as tragic.

Everything died yesterday -  his policy legacy died in Georgia and his personal legacy died as a mob ginned up by his rhetoric lawlessly drove Congress from session.

You can be counted on to deliver the precise message the establishment GOP wants delivered. As predictable as the sunrise. Boring.

When Trump leaves, he's gone.  I don't anticipate nor expect him to continue in any way politically.  If he continues they will continue to pursue him legally until they find reason to lock him up.  He doesn't need the headaches.

I expect Trump will start/take-over a major media company.

Maybe your life is. Mine is doing great. I love my family, my new baby, and my life in this wonderful country.

Enjoy the moment.  Federal deficit is $29T, and now the democratic party now owns all 3 political bases of power.  Why don't you  bookmark this, and get back with us in January 2025, and give us a unicorn, rainbows, and skittles update.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

This could very well come to play, however, I was told the country was already in a death spiral though?

Of course technically nearly everything is in a death spiral of some sort I guess.

Yes. Serious governance is boring. You want an Orange man to sing and dance for you. Not realistic.

Open your damn eyes @Jazzhead  The GOP just died --- and on its knees, as predicted.  The rest of us are standing and moving forward without the deadweight of the Republican Party.

I have been a Republican since Reagan and we have a party with a great history but MY GOD! What kind of cowering, whimpering, pathetic animal do we have here? Get up off your fours and stand on two legs! Have some basic human pride and self-respect, you disgraceful cowards

Mitch McConnell: Overturning Election Results Would Cause ‘Death Spiral’ for U.S.

The election has already been overturned, you idiot.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-

Does Trump even care about his legacy?  Since the beginning all I have seen is boorish, impulsive behavior.  See his latest attack on Pence.  No sane leader could act like Trump, and expect it to end well.

Mitch cannot see the forest for the trees.

It is mandatory that he support complete transparency of our electoral process, and, as a minimum,  perform some investigation of claims from thousands that the election possessed fraud.

This is not about overturning an election.

It is about identifying election fraudsters and ensuring they are jailed so others will hesitate before doing the same in the future.
