I'm sure it has something to do with keeping his status as majority leader.... but he's too dumb to know you can't trust the Democrats and/or the ChiComs to keep their word.

@XenaLee

I suspect you are wrong about that. Primarily because he has the "goods" on them as much as they have the "goods" on him. Maybe even more.

He is no doubt an evil bastard and a traitorous whore for sale to the highest bidder, but he's not stupid or he would have never survived this long.

Unless, that is, they are so wrapped up in getting something they want that the process has no meaning for them and the Rights of the rest of us are of no matter. If that is the case, sir, I can dispassionately state that you are my enemy, and an enemy of this Republic.

I have been knowing that truth for quite some time now.

Welcome to the party.

As Termination Day beckons for Trump, an augury. He will go his merry way while making a daily donkey's ass of himself, as Trump fades.  But his Toddler Posse will spend the next 1460 days raging/ranting over the "Stolen Election"; wearing out any remaining patience that Plain People have. This is the legacy of all fanatics, akin to the Birchers and Tea Partiers.

I see you're still proving the deep thoughts of those over-educated and underlaid still give us the funniest comedy acts on the planet @Absalom   Were you able to get a gig performing on New Year's Eve?

So... basically, you're saying that you're an enemy of yourself then.

Got it.  (and always suspected as much)

Therefore I am more than happy to put you on 'ignore'. You are an ignorant enemy at that.

He's right. In the face of original jurisdiction, they turned down the case. Cowardice, dereliction of duty, and failure to uphold the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold.

If growing your own grain for personal use can be construed to be covered under the interstate commerce clause, then the court should have taken up the case. Any State affected by the outcome of a nationwide election altered by fraudulent or illegal activities in another State should have standing.

Yes he is correct.

I wouldn't be so hard on the average voter. It's possible a truly fair election has become a rare thing these days.

Or put another way, I now believe the average election/re-election process is even more corrupt than I had earlier thought.

Yes.

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
Suffice to say, some people were dropped on their heads at birth.  And Weird, we know who is on that list!

Dark times are ahead with Biden/Harris.  I am preparing for a major downturn in the market.  I intend to do as many puts as I can in options.

I see Biden returning us to a level lower than Obama at best.  What was the market when Obama left, about 18,000 DOW.  I doubt it will happen right away, for they will attempt to buffer the market to make Biden look better than he is, but as the Dems go to town with creating two new states, possibly changing the court, undo all of Trumps EOs over night, end drilling on federal lands, and the issuance of drilling permits.  And all the regulations that will come about by people left with their feet up for the past four years will be suffocating.  Business will die, millions will lose their job, the new normal will return, along with the GND and Climate Change crap to further suffocate the USA and its people.  And the flooding in of many millions will not help matters any.

Get ready for $5 a gallon gas, and a doubling if not tripling of the cost to heat/cool your house.  And beef, enjoy it while it lasts, for the only people eating beef will be those with their own farms.  Got to end those farts that are causing Climate Change.....ugggh!!!!!

USA citizens are now NON ESSENTIAL with the coming Biden Administration.

@jafo2010

Not only non-essential,but a roadblock to "progress".

Damn non-Jewish white people,ya just cain't trust em!

Unless of course they are female and married to someone not white.

Make no mistake about it,this is going to be a political race war, with white people being the target.

This is what white people get for being a minority of the world population in a world were "equality" means "not white".

Anyone want to know why the Right loses elections...and why we just had a fraudulent theft of an American presidential election with minimal pushback from a lot of Republicans/Conservatives?

You need look no further than the attitude of Feel no Pain, Weird Tolkienish, Absalom, kevindavis...these people sit out elections, vote for obscure 3rd party idiots, or vote Dem....just of spite. They don't care if the election was a fraud...they're cool with that if it means Trump loses...because they would rather see Kamala Harris in the White House than a Republic President they don't support. Its pathetic.

Any party that holds a primary for national office...but is unable to hold together behind whomever wins that primary...is doomed to defeat. And spare me blaming the party's nominee...the fault lies not in our nominee(s), but in our inability as conservative voters to pull together and win a national election.

You argue the issues and fight it out like mad dogs in a primary...and then EVERYONE rallies behind the winner. That's how the Dems win...they have discipline to hold together for the national elections even after fighting it out in a primary. Republicans and conservatives...take our ball and go home if we don't fully get our way on every issue we find important.

Calling his own SCOTUS nominees cowards?  I thought he only hired the best?

While you make a good point...one can discern ideology by looking at a judge's track record. The President chose SCJ who were adamantly approved of by nearly every conservative judicial rating organizatio...universally deemed staunchly conservative and to be solid picks.

Courage, unfortunately, is very hard to measure until a man/woman is put to the test...and we have a number of justices who have now been "weighed, measured...and found wanting" in that category.

My point had a kind of factitous  angle to it.  As has been said so often already, nobody was privy to discussions between Roberts and the new justices as far as allowing precedence of this type and nature , and what the implications may have been.

Bottom line the swamp dictated the result.

A thought for you.
Leaving aside Trump's Narcissism, his compulsive lying as well as infantile attitude and behavior, why is he beyond obsessed w/staying in the WH???
It should be obvious this has nothing to do w/Principle, which he wouldn't know from a pothole.
A clue comes from the noise coming from the NYC/NYS District Attorneys; who are actively looking at tax fraud and perjury charges against the Trump Organization for which there is no Statute of Limitations.
As such, Trump's Parade of Pardons can be seen as nothing more than self-serving actions
to prevent extremely dangerous testimony.
Of course, his die-hards will vehemently disagree but Plain People are hardly shocked!!!

Not since 2004.
Not since 2008.
Nope... well I used to be a Democrat, but haven't voted for a Dem since 2002.

I think he just has a giant Ego... well I know he has one, always has. I'm not sure if he's delusional or cynical or both in this sort of insane behavior.

Remember, I voted for him. Twice. So I feel I have a right to criticize him, people here feel differently.

How many does it take to win when the tabulating machines are programmed to ensure you opponent gets 54% of the vote? You can't win, no matter how many votes you get. We will never know how many voted for Trump in 27 states.

Even the best jurist can be a coward. Being a jurist is a question of being capable with the law, being a coward is lacking the intestinal fortitude to use that capability.

Everyone has some dirt, with rare exception (none is without sin).

With the rabid media chasing down any iota of weakness in a person's narrative (depending on who that person is), cheating on a second grade spelling test might be considered cause for Capital punishment, where some get away with murder.

I have little doubt threats were made, to professional or physical safety of justices and their families.

The bottom line is that NO ONE is doing the job we pay them to do.

FIRE THE LOT OF THEM>>>>Don't reelect anyone.

If all the Republicans in Georgia voted democrat, would that peel the lid off? If the Communists got 100% of the vote? Would it show that the election is a sham? Would that even be enough for people to say "ENOUGH!"?

@Smokin Joe

If indeed they take the Georgia Senators, history will NOT be kind toward the 'Radical Conservative extremist/racist Trump Supporter'.

I believe THAT is the reason so many Senate Republicans and Reps are reluctant to become "Spartacus!"

They're betting that 'Trumpism' was just an earthquake whose dust has settled.

And there it is. They have the maturity of 5  year old children. If they don't get EVERYTHING they want, they are going to have hissy-fits,stomp their little feets, and roll around on the ground crying.

Not only that, but if THEY are unhappy,EVERYBODY needs to be unhappy because after all,the whole damn world revolves around what THEY want, right?

I suspect most of them, given the immense size of their egos and the pain and suffering they would go through if they were proven wrong, voted for Biden to make sure they wouldn't be proven wrong.
