Elizabeth Neumann: Trump harmed national security by cutting refugee admissions to US — Biden will admit more

Opening our nation to such a small number of refugees betrays our values as a nation of immigrants

By Elizabeth Neumann | Fox News

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton points the finger at Congress for a broken immigration system and asks other states to step up and help.

The United States has all but vacated its status as a beacon for refugees under the failed leadership of the Trump administration.

Over the last four years, refugee admissions have declined steadily from the 110,000 allowed in 2017. Under the Trump administration’s ceiling for 2021, the U.S. would accept a mere 15,000 refugees in the coming year — about one-twentieth of 1% of the world’s refugees.

Opening our nation to such a small number of refugees betrays our values as a nation of immigrants — values epitomized by the famous poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty that says "Give me your tired your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free."

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
Had no idea who Elizabeth Neumann was, had to look her up.  She is one of the many reasons Trump did not get re-elected.

She is a Bushie, and one of these folks that wears religion on her sleeve.  She was part of a number of former Trump appointees that organized to support Traitor Joe in this November's election.

Too many Obama appointees in Trump's administration left in their positions, and way too many Bushies in key positions to work against Trump his whole time in office.  Trump failed miserably to build his own team, and he paid for it!

If anything, reducing the number of refugees the US would take in reduced the opportunities of terrorists to come in disguised and forced US bureaucrats to scrutinize refuee-status claims more carefully.

IOW, Trump's limitation benefited US national security.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
