New York On Track to Lose Congress Seat Due To Massive Exodus, Ocasio-Cortez May be the One to Get Dumped

So many people are leaving the expensive and high taxed state of New York that the state is in danger of losing a seat in Congress before the 2022 election.

The best part? Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's seat is the one legislators are thinking about dropping.

According to Business Insider between July 2019 and July 2020, “126,000 people moved out of New York state."

“New York has been losing residents since 2016, according to the data, but this year was the most significant drop by far. The second biggest year-to-year population drop for the state this decade was between 2018 and 2019 when more than 80,000 people left the state,” the outlet stated.

Too good of news to be true.  Reapportionment doesn't happen for a few more years doesn't it?
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

People are leaving because NYC under Cuomo has become a western ghost town.
No restaurants. No markets. No theater. No nothing.

There is nothing there to stay for, except for crazy taxes, out of control crime, and brutal weather.

She can run for any other Congressional seat in the city, I believe.

But I predict she's going to primary Chuck the Schmuck Schumer in 2022, anyway.
And... probably win.

It happens in 2021, and takes effect in the 2022 elections.  AOC is still "safe" for being reelected, she'll bump a lesser known Rat in whatever District she ends up in.  The only way she gets Schumer's Senate seat is if he decides to retire.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

Yeah but, it is kismet that the one pushing businesses (read Amazon)and jobs out of NY would be the one reapportioned!.

The article assumes it's her District.  And yes, it will be fitting when Arizona picks up her seat.

There are whispers that it might end up being two districts lost. In which case, it will likely be one upstate and another downstate.

And you just KNOW that the upstate district will be one currently held by a Republican...

Two possibilities in that regard:
1. Tom Reed (my congressman), who had previously said he wouldn't serve as Congressman past 2022. He may run for Governor instead, allowing his Southern Tier district to be carved up. (But it would be difficult to minimize one of the most conservative districts in the state without risking tipping a more liberal district back into the red column.)

2. If Claudia Tenney wins, hers. She is in a battle with Anthony Brindisi that is going through a long, bloody recount. Her district is more liberal, meaning it could be carved up to make more Dem districts.
