Much like the rest of the area, the City of Binghamton remains under a state of emergency as crews continue to work clearing the streets.

According to a release from Mayor Rich David, residents are directed to move their vehicles off City streets. If residents do not have off-street parking, they are asked to utilize a neighbor's driveway, public parking lot or downtown parking garage. Vehicles in the way of plows will be towed.

Many of the side streets in Binghamton were buried for most of the day. Resident Bonnie Jones started shoveling at 6am this morning after spending most of last night shoveling as well. She said she would have preferred to have been at work.
