Biden selects Susan Rice to lead Domestic Policy Council, McDonough for Veterans Affairs

President-elect Joe Biden has selected Susan Rice, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, to lead the White House Domestic Policy Council, and is nominating Denis McDonough as secretary of Veterans Affairs, the transition announced on Thursday.

“The roles they will take on are where the rubber meets the road — where competent and crisis-tested governance can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, enhancing the dignity, equity, security, and prosperity of the day-to-day lives of Americans,” Biden said in the statement.

Rice also previously served as national security adviser during the Obama administration, and will now direct the Domestic Policy Council, a unit with broad purview over Biden's domestic agenda, including health, immigration and education policy. The role does not require Senate confirmation.


McDonough, who served as deputy national security adviser and later White House chief of staff under former President Obama, will need to be confirmed by the Senate in order to lead the sprawling Department of Veterans Affairs.

Will history remember Biden's residency as the retread presidency? It will never be known by any negative monikers in the history books because they are all, at least the ones for school children, written by socialists that will never allow the truth into their manipulations.

Biden is out to assemble the most Black administration possible --- they have to keep that Black vote in check.  They have to keep the illusion that the GOP is the anti-Black party.

So ... I was thinking Rice might be one of Kamel's picks once Biden steps down, so this eliminates her. Michael Obammy will be our next VP.

He seriously considered Rice for VP, so you knew she would have some role in his administration.  I see her taking more prominent roles over time, Chief of Staff, Sec of State, something to elevate her prominence for the future.

Rice in fact is a major POS.  She does nothing to advance black people in the USA.
