  • Rule #39
They gave their decision 40 minutes after they received the request...that has to be some kind of record.

Meaning they already knew how they were going to rule beforehand.  Cowards.

They are more afraid of Biden making good on his threat to pack the courts and more terrified of getting trashed by the legal page writers in the NY Times and WaPo than doing the right thing for the American people.

Ao much for this Conservative Court bullshit.  Not one dissent in the ruling.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Here lies in honored glory an American soldier, known but to God

Bitch McConnell was highly proud of his RINO self when he gleefully boasted of killing the TEA Party off as a national movement.
Frankly, that should have told the tale that all they wanted was to preserve the moneymaking rides they had, and there really was no loyalty except to the cumshaw cabal they had going up there in DC. Roy Moore's abandonment to the raving Democrat wolfpack (and REAL Russian interference) was a clear indicator that no one of principle who might upset that applecart would be tolerated.
The first two years of this administration showed they had no agenda or they would have moved on it, unlike the Communists in DC who, if unopposed, will come out of the gate with fundamental change like we haven't seen yet.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

At least 3, I'd say.  wink777

Do those people understand that they can no longer vote for the guy with the most money in their primaries?  Do they understand that there is a REASON why those people have all that money?

For so long as we sit back and let the elites tell us who we can have as our representatives NO party is going to be satisfactory!

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

YEP... And folks think me a traitor for not putting up with that kind of crap.

I don't think you're a traitor.   A bit misguided on some issues (lol)...

but never a traitor to a free America (free from leftism/communism).   I figure if it ever gets hot, you'd be right there among us on the right, fighting to preserve America AS FOUNDED.

Well sorta... I am to old and gimped up for my berserkergang routine... I can still hulk out if I need to, but it hurts a helluva lot more when I come back to my senses...

So no infantry for me, where I would be a one and done... I'd be better standing off in the woods a little bit, where I can be a pain in the ass for a good long time.

The bolded clause is so very important. Culture seems on warp speed today, so change happens easy. Keeping what we have (or maybe had)—America as founded—is hard. The radical left, to their damnable credit, has made significant incursions into Washington, DC culture and to levers of power. I don’t know how long our house divided can stand?

I don't either.   We could maybe withstand the attacks and assaults from without... but having so many enemies, traitors and stupids embedded in every aspect of American life now.... it remains to be seen if we will be able to withstand the attacks from the enemy within (DemocRats).

The answer is, no we won't and we are seeing that today.

The schools indoctrinate children and now that they are assuming positions of power in business, media, entertainment, and politics we are seeing the rise of the "woke" culture. This "woke" culture is being put into practice at all levels and is soon to become law. The courts have shown no ability to stop this and the politicians have been silent, except for Trump and his base.

In the end we either surrender to this "woke" society dictated to us by those least affected by it or we find a way to separate ourselves from it. I think the Texas lawsuit going to the SCOTUS is the beginning of the separation. I expect that the SCOTUS will find a way not to enforce the constitutional dictates that the 4 states ignored and we will be stuck with a POTUS who stole the election. After this either a 3rd party will start to emerge or a movement to find a way to go our separate ways.

We really are living in a Constitutional crisis.

Hmm................."Myopic Malcontents" anyone?

On a serious note and despite the agita, imagined or real;
the antidote for the disarray in our governance will never
be found in politics/politicians. NEVER, which history affirms.
When we recover the values/virtues of our Founders and
their role models, we will give ourselves a chance for
our legacy/heritage to re-emerge; otherwise we wont.

Politics, a corrupt and dishonorable impulse, repels
all true leaders who radiate courage, honor, integrity,
decisiveness and vision, among many traits.
Such attributes are not in the soul of politicians.
Trump is little more than another adventurer needy
of attention and kin of the rest to the debris that infests DC.

At least with Trump we had a man who loved his country. What we have now is several orders of magnitude worse for the nation, by any measure.

I look forward to seeing similarly biting commentary directed at 46.

He has said little or nothing negative about Biden thus far.  Hence, the problem and quandary of where his loyalities really lie.

I've noticed, even to the point of joyously counting down the number of days left in Trump's term. Strange behavior for anyone who claims to be a patriot.

He never claimed to be a patriot. He's above such silly notions because he's edumacated.

Do you really think Biden doesn't love his country though? I can see that for Kamala, or Obama. Biden's more old school.

I don't think Biden has enough grey matter left to love much of anything.

I'm not gonna argue with that, but Biden never struck me as a rabid anti-american leftist.

You're right.  I view him as a Carter Clinton-type ideologue.  But is surrounded, starting with VPOTUS an ultra left element, who will be really be the braintrust running this country.
