Trump did nothing to negate these idiots right to be fools...asking their private employer to “Get the son of a bitch off the field” is perfectly appropriate. Do you think employers can’t fire dim witted employees who harangue their patrons with political ideology? What’s clear here is that you have zero understanding of what a Constitutional right actually is. The people Trump referred to have a right to be “sons of bitches on the field” and their employers have every right to fire them for this...which is what Trump called for...and he was right to do so.

As for the Charlotte rally...I 100% guarantee you, most folks there had no clue who initially called the rally AND Trump was speaking not just of folks on site in Charlotte but also if anyone opposed to the wanton tearing down of national monuments. So yes, good people have opinions on both sides of such an argument...most on this site are part of the people the President was referring to as “good people”.

You REALLY need to take a civics class. President's and citizens can condemn anything they want...and express any opinion they want as per that sacred document. The President did not use the powers of government to silence or remove political discourse with which he disagreed...he called someone a son of a bitch...correctly...and said that said person's employer should remove said a-hole from the field. That's merely an expression of opinion, and yes, even president's are still free to express any damn opinion they want.

Its very clear we were talking about the presidents words costing him, not what he is constitutionally allowed to say.

And I specifically said that traitors shouldn't get statues in public spaces, not that Washington shouldn't, nor did I ever agree that mob rule should determine the fate of the statues.

A bit O/T, a friend and I discussed the election a few days ago. We both voted for Trump, and we both agreed that Trump would have won had he toned down his rhetoric 2-3 months before the election. His bombast only serves to keep his base happy, while turning off independents and moderates. 

Personally, I had hoped for Trump to act more presidential, but that was not to be.

Now we're discussing suspending the Constitution? The clown show has got to stop.
