No, but that’s not my cup of tea for shoes. For slippers maybe but not for shoes.
Btw, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal how clothes and other fashion companies (one mentioned was Coach) are no longer going to have multiple shades of different colors going forward. I don’t know if it is from people not buying or manufactures not making or a bit of both. I hit a pay firewall after the first paragraph. :(
@Gefn I think these plaid shoes are a hoot! One big obstacle for me is spending more than a car payment on a one-time hoot --- a consideration I doubt Melania has!
As to inventory changes ...
"Bed Bath & Beyond, Couch, Kohl’s and others cull styles to combat decision paralysis, unclog supply chains and reduce end-of-season markdowns Coach is cutting its handbag styles by half. Bed Bath & Beyond is reducing its can opener selection by two-thirds. Kohl’s is culling its towel offerings by nearly a fifth."
This is interesting. I predict they'll be forced to bring back some of what they're cutting. I doubt they'll want to pay for the retail space for the items so I'll also predict this stuff will be available through online shopping only. If they're smart, they'll rotate more items between retail and online.
And that, my friend, are my worthless two cents!
