Trump rails against Georgia recount process

President Trump on Saturday railed against the recount process in Georgia, calling it a “waste of time” on Twitter and claiming that officials won't let his campaign’s election observers into counting rooms.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) announced the recount of the state’s nearly 5 million votes on Wednesday. President-elect Joe Biden maintains a slim lead of 0.3 percentage points, or more than 14,000 votes, over Trump in the state.

Biden on Friday was projected to win the Peach State by multiple news outlets. He is the first Democrat since former President Clinton in 1992 to carry the state.


“The hand recount taking place in Georgia is a waste of time. They are not showing the matching signatures,” Trump tweeted. “Call off the recount until they allow the MATCH. Don’t let the Radical Left Dems STEAL THE ELECTION!”

What matters in Georgia is the January runoff; not Trump who has lost by some 6 million votes!!!
This will likely produce a GOP Senate majority of + 4 and severely restrain Biden's governance.
Additionally, the GOP continues to gain house Seats which may cost Pelosi her Speakership.
Trump is yesterday's bad news, so please get lost!!!!!!!!!!

You've been unable to grasp just how the President of the United States is elected.  So, I'm going to guess the Ancients didn't have an Electoral College  --- because this continues to stump the hell out of you.  This may be a good time to turn a couple of hundred pages and catch up.   happy77

In Democracies, the popular vote represents the voice of plain people as it
has since 1789; not polls/pollsters, not the Electoral Collège and emphatically
not our media assholery, performing their daily full frontal for tee-vee.
They spoke Lima Charlie on 11/3; rejecting Trump, while affirming a very likely
R Senate and a possible R House.
While the R Candidates were largely passive, the majority of R voters were active,
separating the former from Trump who they want nothing to do with, after 4 years
of noise.

1. Six million votes ? We are talking Georgia. Aren't you conflating Georgia with the popular vote? ( and where are you getting the 6 million figure?)

2. If the GOP wins both Senate runoffs in Georgia, how do they get +4?

What happened, I believe is a lot of voters  "Paid the Ransom", in the thought if Trump lost things would get back to "normal", and the Trump Haters would finally shut up.    They are about to find out how wrong they were.

Popular vote is now Biden 78.7M and Trump 72.9M, for a variance of 5,800,000.
Senate is now R 50 and D 48; if Loeffler and Tillis win (both now favored)
it's a 52 / 48 Senate.
