National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that it will still be necessary to social distance, wear masks after a coronavirus vaccine becomes available.

Jake Tapper said, “Once somebody has been immunized … Once the process is complete, does that mean they can take off their mask, don’t have to social distance, and go about their lives as before?”

Fauci said, “I would recommend that is not the case. I would recommend you have an added area of protection. Obviously, with 90 plus percent effective vaccine, you could feel much more confident, but I would recommend to people to not abandon all public health measures just because you’ve been vaccinated.”

He added, “Even though for the general population, it might be 90 to 95% effective, you don’t necessarily know for you how effective it is. So when I get vaccinated, which I hope to when it becomes my turn to get vaccinated, I’m not going to abandon completely public health measures. I could feel more relaxed and essentially not having the stringency we have right now.”

Well of course. The unanswered question is, How will it be enforced?
Will you be arrested? No, of course not. Police could not possibly arrest and process thousands of people a day.
Will you be cited? So what? What happens if you refuse to pay? Will the courts issue thousands and thousand of warrants?
So what if they do? Will the undermanned Police have time to track down thousands of new warrants?

Police are not enforcing 'major' crimes these days, due to pressure from Democrats to 'stand down'.
How the hell are they going to waste time on a 'mask violation'?
It is ridiculous and is simply unenforceable.
As you said, there aren't enough law enforcement personnel or court personnel to deal with this nonsense.
To deal with a crime which is obviously a non-crime or more of a thought-crime.

I keep a paper mask in my wallet and pull it out only when I have to.
Is having a mask in my wallet or around my neck or on my chin enough?
What are the specific rules of a mask mandate? It is all very, very, undefined.

OK. If I have to wear a mask and social distance with or without the vaccine, then I will simply refuse to take it.
What's the difference? According to Fauci there is no difference. So then, why do I need it? Screw it!

Our church still requires people to wear the mask except for when they're seated in the pews (trying to comply with Gov. Wolf just as much as we have to). Just those few minutes of mask-wearing today gave me a runny nose and a cough.

Geez, you folks aren't very creative.
You'd better be glad that I'm not on their side and in charge of enforcement. Because this is how I'd do it:

OK, you're out and not wearing a mask?
You'll be stopped, asked for ID, and then handed a citation.
There'll be no "court appearance" required, no fine assessed.

However, you will "go onto a list" as being someone who willingly endangers public health and safety.
And those lists will be compared against all gun shops which must keep federal forms on hand regarding who has purchased firearms.

Hmmm... we have a "match-up" here.
So... send a special squad to that individual's house.
You will be told that since your "reckless behavior" in public (of not wearing a mask) has indicated that you're a threat to public safety, you're being "requested" to surrender your firearms to the police for "safekeeping". Either that or be arrested.

What are you going to do about it...?
