Giuliani demands apology after Fox News host hurls contemptuous insults to his face: ‘Our interview is now OVER’
October 28, 2020 | Vivek Saxena

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, snapped at a Fox Business Network host Tuesday after she compared him to the author of the now-debunked, Russian-sourced Steele dossier.

The remarkable comparison by host Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, who’s known as Kennedy, was aimed at the work Giuliani has done in exposing confirmed bombshells about Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

“We will have the people in our news departments verify all of this, because it sounds like there may be something here that is fishy that is causing Americans — giving them pause,” she said, referencing Giuliani’s already confirmed findings.

“And now there’s stuff that might’ve been completely adulterated over the 18 months, and some could say that you were acting like Christopher Steele, that you were abstracting information because …”

An incensed Giuliani then cut her off to challenge her potentially libelous accusation.

“You’ve got to be kidding me? I’m acting like Christopher Steele? You better apologize for that!” he said.

Kennedy comments on the 5 have typically been a bit right of center.  What would cause her to light into Guliani?  Wierd.

Of course, my question would have been, why would you have let yourself be put in that kind of comprimising position, and set up by Borat.

The "Steele Dossier" was crammed full of easily debunked absurdities.

Plus or minus a little hype, Giuliani committed truth.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

I was surprised when The Five slammed the lid on Newt Gingrich for uttering George Soros' name. Makes me wonder what has been going on with upper management.

While some media outlets have never been subtle about their political leanings others typically more coy are letting their veil slip this election season.

While I'm not a fan of Rudy.... I also recognize that he ain't too awfully bright....

so it figures that he would be "surprised" at the treatment in this interview by the new and improved Faux News.

Giuliani is actually pretty bright. IIRC he was the lead prosecutor taking down many Mafia heads in the eighties and he straightened out NYC's crime problem.
The problem is sometimes smart people do dumb things. In the first "Borat" Cohen tried to trick Alan Keyes. Keyes was on to him immediately and didn't take the bait. Rudy should have ushered Cohen out of his room. Rudy didn't do anything wrong, but it was dumb to agree to do anything with Cohen.

As a two term mayor of New York, Giuliani remarkably transformed New York City from a crime and murder ridden capital of America to its cleanest, safest and most livable big city. He worked tirelessly for us after 9/11; he served as the number two at the Justice department under Reagan; he was United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he took down top mafia figures.

Not to bright? Try again.

Rudy Giulini has accomplished much more for the cause of Freedom and Law and Order than any other human being I'm aware of.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Thanks, @Bigun  I am a little sensitive on the subject of Mayor Giuliani. It’s personal for me and my family.

I moved back to New York in the last year of the Dinkins administration. At that time you had to take your radio with you when you parked because thieves would simply smash your windows to steal it. People were leaving signs taped to windows that said NO RADIO. It was rampant in all the Burroughs. You couldn’t stop at an intersection without some squeegee guy pressuring you for money for washing your windshield with some filthy rag.

When Giuliani got elected he kept his campaign promises and he quickly brought the number of murders down from 2500+ per year under Dinkins, to just under 400 per year, in a city of 8 million!

While NYC has the glamour of Manhattan (Lexington, Madison and Park Avenues) it
became an urban slum in the thirties attributable to migrants from the South seeking work.
As a result Counties Brooklyn, the Bronx and large parts of Queens have become
and remain, crime and drug infested ghettos during the past 75 years.
Giuliani was a hero on 9/11, yet did absolutely nothing, yet in fairness, could
have done nothing, to change the fundamental cultural/societal dynamic of NYC. Nothing!

Not true!  As Mayor of NYC, he initiated stop and frisk.  He always backed the blue.  Crime went way down under his administration.

I don’t read @Absalom ‘s uninformed political opinions. I usually just scroll past him. But, you @dancer I read always. And, you are absolutely correct about the Giuliani administration.

I lived the Giuliani years. The leftists, black activists and New York media went nuts when he won. But, how about the police? Well, they loved Giuliani. As a former prosecutor, they knew he would (and he did) keep his campaign promises and give them the necessary tools and support they needed in their important role in making NYC’s streets and business districts safe again after the disastrous Dinkins administration.

And to his credit, even Mayor Bloomberg (who ran as a Republican), left intact the successful programs and policies of Giuliani throughout his own administration. As a result, NYC had an uninterrupted twenty-year run of safe streets and economic revival that having safe neighborhoods brought.

Indeed - and look at NYC now. It's obvious the city desperately needs another Rudy. He was my first choice for president in 2008 before we ended up with Mittens. Yes, I knew he was liberal on some things and had a sordid marital history, but I read his policy statements and plans, especially for the economy, and thought he would have been the better choice.

He came before Mittens on my list as well @mountaineer but not quite so high up as on yours.

I think The Backstabber was the 2008 R candidate, and Romney was the 2012 candidate. Both hurl-worthy; Giuliani would have been better than either, in hindsight.

These days Giuliani seems to mix hype in with what is real, which detracts from the credibility of what is real.

It's an opinion forum and you're certainly entitled.
My core point was that Giuliani despite his actions/good intentions
did nothing to alter the fundamental decline of NYC nor could he.
That decline has been self evident to any w/vision, across all our
cities for generations.

Rudy Giuliani spearheaded a push to clean up Times Square, which had up until his arrival been allowed to deteriorate into a seedy, drug infested, red light district. That’s not the kind of thing befitting a world-class city like New York in the heart of the city.

Look at Times Square today. What you see there is the result of Rudy Giuliani’s vision, his administration. International attractions and businesses that are now bringing in probably millions (billions?) a year in revenue.

Well, I did point him in the direction of the DEM Underground .... so much for trying to do a favor.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
