As drug manufacturers speed up their efforts to find a new treatment drug for the coronavirus outbreak that has devastated China and has caused a world-wide panic, a Chinese drug company just announced that it has started mass-producing an experimental drug from Gilead Sciences that has the potential to fight the novel coronavirus (1).

I don't care what party Bill Gates supports, if any. I don't care what his religion is, if any. This post is about what he does and I got it from him.
Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates are good friends; have been for many years. Most of you don't watch CNN, but I watched every time Gates has been on there due to Covid. He is not hiding anything - he wants everyone to know. He explains what he has been doing for years to help third world countries - from food to medicine. He uses Fauci's information to help him along the way. He is instrumental helping WHO with money to accomplish their goals which are the same as Gates - they are compatible. Gates does not help Trump because Trump does not want his help, so Gates goes to international companies that make vaccines and other meds to combat illness. Gates will supply the money for the companies to do this.
One of his goals is to build a building in every country in the world and supply it with vaccines and other meds of every kind and give the meds/shots free to anyone in that country who cannot afford them.
When I first heard him on CNN, earlier this year, I went to his Foundation and read his/her goals. I can't imagine having so many billions of dollars that one can pay to help countries around the world and it does not affect their financial standing.

Dr. Fauci has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID, paty of the NIH) since 1984. As such, working with the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases would be a natural part of his job. Gilead develops medicines to fight infectious diseases. Remdesivir was refined by Gilead in partnership with USAMRIID from one of Gilead's existing compounds in an effort to fight Ebola, https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/remdesivir-works-against-many-viruses-why-arent-there-more-drugs-it-180974859/ , the section titled "The Rise of Remdesivir" . Nothing sinister here.

So either Gilead licensed Remdesivir or the Chinese company pirated it. Either way, so what!

This happened on March 23, 2020, at a time when Gilead was temporarily unable to meet mushrooming demand, https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/opdlisting/oopd/detailedIndex.cfm?cfgridkey=739020 . Several days later Gilead requested that the orphan drug status be rescinded, https://www.gilead.com/news-and-press/company-statements/gilead-sciences-statement-on-request-to-rescind-remdesivir-orphan-drug-designation . In sum: the special status was not granted recently; Gilead requested the status be rescinded just days after it was granted. Those false claims pointed out, so what!

Remdesivir has not had orphan drug status for some 7 months, so this statement is false, either ignorance or deception.

It was ~48 hours after receiving the special status that Gilead requested it be rescinded. As noted above, either the Chinese drug company licensed Remdesivir or pirated it. Either way (and things I've seen suggest the latter) this is not "partnering". Either way, so what!
Remdesivir (Veklury) used properly apparently helps fight Covid-19 (and several other viral diseases, including Ebola) and the FDA recently approved it for use with hospitalized patients. So, why is it being attacked with easily disproven falsehoods, chimeric bogey-CTs, and ad hominem? If it's effective, why care whether Dr. Fauci became aware of Remdesivir in 2014 or 2020? If it's effective, why begrudge Remdesivir being available to treat sick Chinese people?
How is this attack against an effective drug meaningfully different from the attack on HCQ? Trump-Hating MSM folk aren't, IMO, meaningfully different from CT'ists and their falsehoods.

UNITAID is a charity that was begun by several European and South American countries' governments. Its purpose is to facilitate access to newer (= more expensive) medicines by poorer countries. Whether or not Soros or the Gates or the Clintons donated to UNITAID doesn't mean UNITAID is somehow captive to whatever geo-political purposes Soros, et al, may have. Waving bogeymen's names like this is just lame guilt-by-association.
