Mitch McConnell: Amy Coney Barrett Will Be Confirmed ‘No Later than Monday’

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) vowed Friday that the full Senate will vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court “no mater than Monday.”

Over in your United States Senate, Democrats are trying to slow down the ACB confirmation process with a series of votes that are also effectively keeping all Senators in the chamber. First a vote to go to closed session, now Schumer calling for nom to be indefinitely suspended

McConnell has made it clear Judge Barrett will get a final vote "no later than Monday," and he has the votes to make that happen... just slowly.

Part of why,  he has bruised hands and fat lip.  No doubt in my mind.  BTW.  SCALIA was murdered. When there were some really important issues in S.C.  PENDING.

Mixed feelings about this to be honest. It might send libs over the edge and make trump and republicans look sane (ala kavanaugh and the 2018 election)... however it might energize the left to get out the vote.
