I am hesitant to ask this @Jazzhead but assuming your predictions are correct, what is your "objective" proof that this is the fault of the President?  As hesitant as I am, I am more curious .... curious to hear the dots you connected to reach your conclusion.

Do tell.

The problem facing the President is, simply put,  public fatigue.   The Dems are reinforcing and encouraging the perception that things are not "normal" and  that the President's abrasive style and propensity to pick fights has set American against American as we devolve into warring tribes.

That's the Democratic meme,  and of course they've encouraged it by harassing and pushing the President's buttons at every turn.   Meanwhile,  he's engineered an economic boon for the working class,   kept us out of more wars while proposing a new template for Middle East peace,   helped encourage the development of a Covid vaccine,  supported the police,  and brought Constitutionalism back to the federal bench.

For those things he deserves to be rewarded,  and instead he's down in all the polls just two weeks out.   Sure,  the Dems have goaded him to encourage their meme of public fatigue and the yearning for normalcy,  but it's Trump's fault that he's fallen for their trap and failed to control his Twitter finger and keep his rhetoric presidential.

Look, pal, stop whining.    This Administration has accomplished plenty, enough to be re-elected in a landslide.    That that is not expected to become reality is because of the incorrigible flaws of our nominee.    He has two weeks to correct them.    He has two weeks to appeal to the nation with vision,  not his obsession with petty spats.

Trump failed to rise to the occasion early on, and from that point, a "return to normalcy" campaign by Biden was destined to succeed.  People will blame it on the virus, but he was probably going to lose even with a good economy.  Just look at the polling back in early March --- it was quite similar.

Big question is whether Trump capable of 2 weeks of damage control.  I am very worried about the senate with Schumer as majority leader.  He is a bolshevik and an arsonist.

Nixon was a crook. Reagan was a doddering war monger. Dan Quayle was dumb. HW Bush was a wimp. W Bush was a drunk driving frat boy.

Unflattering characterizing of republicans is what the rat media does. And as always there are skittish republican voters who swallow their schtick hook line and sinker and run for the tall grass.

Sometimes those republicans lose their elections as a result, but sometimes most voters see through their tactic and when they do those republicans win. Lucky for both of us in this case I think Trump will prevail.

Brilliant points!

Does anyone remember in 2010 that tea party candidate accused of witchcraft, Christine O'Donnell? Driven out of the race by the inquisition media and, as you so politely put it, skittish republicans.

Yes,  but the Dems' meme is not necessarily a false one, being reinforced as it is every day by Trump's tweetstorms of name-calling and personal attacks.   This is correctable behavior,  except that Trump just doubles down.   He's supposed to act like a President,  for gosh sakes!

I don’t think we need a polite president at a time when our governing institutions are corrupted and under attack from a highly organized political and street insurgency. We need a president willing to drop a nuclear bomb to nuke this communist movement (a Harry Truman-like regular American guy who happens to be an unpresidential billionaire who’s fighting for the essence of America).

So the dot you used to predict the President's defeat is his Twitter account.  Alrighty.  Thanks.

Except that... it's going to require a surgical strike to excise the leftist cancer that has embedded itself in every nook and cranny of "Government".  Problem is... who, on the political horizon... except for maybe Ratcliffe... do we know that might be up to and/or willing to do that job?   Sure as hell isn't Barr or anyone currently at the DOJ.   And neither Wray nor others have been fired, so the swamp is still teeming with deep state leftist critters.

The only thing we can hope for is that Trump proceeds to "clean house" after Inauguration Day.   Hope it's not another false hope (lock her up).

@Jazzhead

Sorta depends on who’s fatigued. If it’s the woke crowd on the Marxist Left, who cares? They should be fatigued. The truth often hurts. We’ve got a country to save in two weeks. This is a linchpin election, in case you haven’t noticed.

Trump as the spearhead of the patriotic resistance, is what fighting back against the machine looks like. It was never gonna be pretty, whichever Republican was standing in the breach. We’re extremely lucky Trump has the stomach for this fight.

Perhaps,  but first he has to get elected.  It will be a tragedy to see Trump's revolution followed by a counterrevolution of unprecedented radicalism,  brought to reality by Biden's Trojan horse of a return to "normalcy".

Yes, Trump has the steel nads for the ongoing fight.   And I truly believe that in 2024, Pence will also have what it takes to carry on the fight "for" America as founded.... and Trump will be there to advise.   So after watching Pence's debate with Harris, I am now feeling much better about how things will go in a post-Trump presidency.

The idiots involved in that "counter revolution" don't outnumber us patriots.... yet.   The leftist biased and censoring media just deliberately make it look that way.

I’m in complete agreement on that. The more I see of Pence, the more I like what I see. It looks like he’s got the potential of carrying on the fight, if the next four years Trump mentors him on toughness and passes on to him the secrets of Trump’s evil genius.  :MiniGun:

So good I had to repeat it.

And you're dead-on right that the only way to stop "this communist movement" WILL be to "nuke it". If that means... well, if that means whatever it means, so be it.

How strange that a century ago, it was old Russia that was the epicenter of burgeoning communism -- but 100 years later, that epicenter has now moved... here.

You've definitely been influenced by the rat media narrative. Yeah, Trump says clumsy and sometimes ill advised things. But so do the rats. Worse, IMO. They just don't have them amplified and often taken out of context as Trump does.

Besides, only those who worship at the alter of the state want their politicians to be role models. I just want mine to be effective.
