Donald Trump just needs to answer Thursday's debate questions with a simple 'Yes' and 'No' answer.

Then immediately turn to Joe and say, "Hey, what's up with these pictures we found on your son's laptop"

If I were Trump I'd just not show up, hold a rally somewhere instead.  This is all just another setup.

But despite the change of course, Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said later Monday that the president will still debate Biden.

“President Trump is committed to debating Joe Biden regardless of last-minute rule changes from the biased commission in their latest attempt to provide advantage to their favored candidate,” Stepien said in a statement.

Can you tell me what the President did that forced the commission to delete foreign policy from the debate topics?

His constant interruptions won him a mute button.  Most people would agree with this decision.  It's like he had diarrhea of the mouth.

Since he knows about the media collusion, it's his responsibility to raise the issue in a tactful manner.  He has 2 minutes uninterrupted, and he has plenty of time to prepare.  If the moderater cuts him short, he needs a plan for that as well.

Who doubts that Joe will be muted when he starts interrupting? C'mon, man.

All parties were guilty of interrupting during the last debate, although Trump was kinda forced to interrupt the Wallace/Biden duet more often. In fact Wallace and Biden were the first to set the tone for how things went that night.

Okay, thanks for the stream of consciousness @cato potatoe  ... but you haven't answered my question to you.  I think the removal of foreign policy from the list of topics is more consequential than a mute button --- So, I'm asking my question again.  I'm sincerely curious to learn who you hold accountable for this travesty.

My question:

This seems to be conveniently forgotten.

My question:

I think the bigger question is.... who is actually 'dictating' (word choice deliberate, in this case)...what topics are allowed and what topics are not allowed.   Is it possible ...that the ChiComs are calling these shots on the debates ... and they don't want to have to "cut the signal" (internet kill switch) to the Chinese people on the debate when the subject gets around to China like they did on the first debate?

You did not answer her question.  What did Trump do to make the biased "commission" drop the entire subject of foreign policy from the debate?

What is the point of your question?  Of course it was a political decision.  Now what is Trump going to do about it?

Be a shame if Trump brought his phone to the debate and just started tweeting every time they shut his mic off
