Something I haven't been able to find posted as a news article yet...

... Seems I recall that Lindsey Graham has scheduled the committee vote for later today?

If so, I don't see how the democrat-communists will be able to deny the Republicans a quorum (at least 2 demo-com senators present) if they are already there for the hearings...

@rustynail

Even IF he believes that, what difference does it make? He,and the Republicans still have the power to put him on the SC before the election.

"Markup?"  This isn't a Bill.  Graham has the vote out of Committee scheduled for today, so this is the day I expect the Rats to pull the Quorum trick.

'No': Graham Shuts Down Democrats' Attempts to Delay ACB Vote

"We're going to vote on the judge on October 22," Chairman Lindsey Graham informed his interrupting Democratic colleagues on Thursday.

Judging by his exhausted demeanor, Graham was fully expecting the Democratic panelists to try and stop the proceedings to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. First it was Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), who told the chairman he could not move forward until at least another member of the minority was present. Then Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) interjected to introduce a motion to delay the vote.

"No, we're not going to do that," Graham said, shaking his head.

Judiciary Committee sets vote on Barrett's nomination for next week
BY JORDAIN CARNEY - 10/15/20

The panel will vote on Barrett's nomination on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. under a schedule offered by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).

Barrett's nomination was on the Judiciary Committee's agenda for the first time on Thursday morning, but was widely expected to be held until Oct. 22. Under committee rules, any one senator can request that a nomination be delayed a week, and they routinely are.

Graham, with the support of GOP senators, moved to leapfrog a committee rule that requires two members of the minority party to be present before a nomination is formally held over. When Graham called up the vote, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) was the only Democratic member of the panel present. But Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) showed up mid-vote, giving Graham a second Democratic senator.

"It's clear to me from reading in the paper is that what's going to happen is we're going to be denied the ability to operate as normal. ... I know what awaits us," Graham said about his decision.

When Durbin pointed out that he could not bring up the vote to schedule a vote on Barrett's nomination without a second Democratic senator present, Graham replied, "With all due respect, we've had this problem in the past. ... If we create this problem for you in the future, you're going to do what I'm going to do, which is move forward on the business on the committee."

So, IOW, Graham caved on the vote that was supposed to be today.  Now, the Rats have the weekend and Sunday shows to filth up ACB with fabricated innuendo.  Good work, Linseed.

My guess is that Mr. Graham is privy to internal polling data that we cannot see.
The only thing left is to press on, and get Ms. Barrett confirmed, regardless.

Feinstein on Barrett: When Republicans signaled they’d move ahead in the face of all objections, the only thing we could do was show this nominee would radically alter the court, and we accomplished that. I plan to vote no on confirmation of this nominee.

Lindsey Graham told the committee that it looks like Biden will win.

That's not at all what he just said 30 minutes ago to Martha McCallum in the 7pm-8pm hour on FOXNEWS.   Said just the opposite.

Senator Blumenthal and Senate Democrats just forced a vote in Judiciary to demand this sham process be stopped.

But Senator Graham and the Senate Republicans voted to keep moving full speed ahead to rip away health care from millions of Americans in the middle of a pandemic.

LOL!  IIRC, he said that the Democrats on social media are going nuts because "SHE walked over and gave me a hug...".
