Kennedy brings up Plessy being overturned by Brown.  Kennedy is huge advocate for overturning Roe.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

I didn't know anyone could be more offensive and rude as Hirono, but Kamala gets it done.

No more fresh air.  Sen. Booker is up.  He brings up the Obama policy of splitting up families of those caught entering the country illegally, while falsely attributing that policy to Trump.

@Hoodat

The saddest part about that is he is stupid enough he believes what he is saying to be true.

Booker:  'Lives are being endangered because Democrats decided to take voting rights away from African-Americans for petty drug charges (and which Trump has since corrected).'

Booker is a fool.

@Hoodat

Did he really say that?

Credit where it’s due: Amy Coney Barrett has been even more impressive under questioning than Kavanaugh (before the ambush) and Gorsuch were

I was watching the NBC feed of the hearings on Youtube during a recess.

No joke, they actually chided ACB because she momentarily forgot one of the parts of the 1st Amendment.

They literally acted like that was a cause for concern in putting her on the SCOTUS.

Without mentioning that Democrats had anything to do with it, yes.

All I know is that there is a bottle of champagne chilling right now, and I'm going to pop the cork as soon as ACB is confirmed. So don't ruin my plans, Dems.
