Preposterous nonsense.
By 1914, Germany was in the process of eclipsing France on the European Continent,
whom they had quickly crushed in the Franco-Prussian War, 40 years previously.
Their venomous rivalry began in Roman times between Gauls & Saxons and was the
catalyst for the Great War.
As such, the German people fully expected to demolish France w/finality in 1914.
It didn't happen because of the ineptitude of the German Military/Political leadership
that had replaced Von Bismarck and Von Moltke of 1870.
As a result, the Germans, particularly Hitler, needed a scapegoat as they could not
point the finger at their Military; consequently the Jews were a target of convenience.
Ironically, the Hohenzollern Dynasty united Germany and under their rule a number of
Jews served as a senior Officers in the German Military during the late 19th century.
The Democrats had absolutely nothing to do w/Hitler's genocide of the Jews.
