Well, Trump has received Regeneron's antibody "cocktail", remdesivir, and dexamethasone, so :shrug: . I don't think a final-word victory declaration will be fully warranted for another week if things continue to go well.

I've been wondering if Remdesivir would have a bigger impact if it were given sooner, like Tamiflu for influenza.  Trouble is, those that have received it in trials (it is given by iv) are sick enough to be hospitalized so they have already had covid-19 for many, many days. Trump was able to get it soon after symptoms started.

IIRC, tests of Regeneron's treatment also found the greatest benefit in those treated early. Probably the same would be true of HCQ, if it were tested properly (early, with zinc and azithromycin). Testing antivirals after the virus has taken hold is a violation of common sense.
