I was watching when Biden talked about choosing Harris, saying she and his son were friends. He got emotional saying that.  That is why she won over others who were on his short list for VP.  You can choose not to believe that, but it is the truth.

It may be "the truth," and may not, but that isn't the relevant point.  Biteme didn't have anything to do with picking her, the people running the Democrat show made that choice.  They may have even known about the personal hook you are talking about, which gives it a veneer.

A lot of people were reminded last night of why Kamala Harris was the first candidate to drop out of the Democrat presidential campaign, polling at about 1%. She is lacking any gravitas, is an intellectual lightweight, is a solid left wing extremist, and is very unlikable.

Democratic VP Nominee Kamala Harris promised at the Vice Presidential debate Wednesday night that, if elected, she and Joe Biden will raise taxes on the American people.

When asked by moderator Susan Page, USA Today Washington Bureau chief and Nancy Pelosi biographer, about Biden’s plan for the economy, Harris proudly exclaimed that he would be raising taxes and that the Biden administration’s first step would be to remove the tax breaks created by President Donald Trump.

“On Day One, Joe Biden will repeal that tax bill. He will get rid of it,” Harris said.

“That is how Joe Biden thinks about the economy. It’s about investing in the people of our country, as opposed to passing a tax bill which has the benefit of letting American corporations go,” Harris said.
