US Navy fields a “Predator†movie-styled ammo pack called the “Avengerâ€

The US Navy has begun fielding a special backpack that allows smooth feeding of belt-fed ammunition, according to Navy sources.
The device, which is known as the “Avenger,†can hold 650 rounds of ammunition and allows team gunners to carry out their “Predator†fantasies, just like Jesse Ventura.

Effectively a lightweight ammo box with a similar feeding device as seen on miniguns, the Avenger is pretty man-portable, weighing only nine pounds.
