I like ABBA. I read they are getting back together again. I wonder what they sound like today?

You've got the words to change a nation
But you're biting your tongue
You've spent a life time stuck in silence
Afraid you'll say something wrong
If no one ever hears it how we gonna learn your song?
So come, on come on
Come on, come on
You've got a heart as loud as lions
So why let your voice be tamed?
Baby we're a little different
There's no need to be ashamed
You've got the light to fight the shadows
So stop hiding it away
Come on, Come on

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers,
I'm not afraid
They can read all about it
Read all about it oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh

At night we're waking up the neighbours
While we sing away the blues
Making sure that we remember yeah
Cause we all matter too
If the truth has been forbidden
Then we're breaking all the rules
So come on, come on
Come on, come on,
Let's get the tv and the radio
To play our tune again
It's 'bout time we got some airplay of our version of events
There's no need to be afraid
I will sing with you my friend
Come on, come on

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers,
I'm not afraid
They can read all about it
Read all about it oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh

Yeah we're all wonderful, wonderful people
So when did we all get so fearful?
Now we're finally finding our voices
So take a chance, come help me sing this
Yeah we're all wonderful, wonderful people
So when did we all get so fearful?
And now we're finally finding our voices
So take a chance, come help me sing this

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers,
I'm not afraid
They can read all about it
Read all about it oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh

I wanna sing, I wanna shout
I wanna scream till the words dry out
So put it in all of the papers,
I'm not afraid
They can read all about it
Read all about it oh

Once you have the groove you never lose it. This cover band has the "official" stamp of all four members. There are rumors that Putin had the band for a party and he is a huge ABBA fan.

Today, I buried my Father.  God, I loved him so.

For you Dad.

What will I say?
Lookin’ back upon this life
Standin’ there at the pearly gates
To a golden street paradise
Feelin’ humble, no room up there for pride
What will I say?

Well, I know that I’ve
Messed up more than a time or two
I’ve lived like hell, I’ve done it well
And I’ve got the scars to prove
When I show up alone at heaven’s door
Will I be proud of what I’ve done
Or will I be begging for

One more time
One more chance
One more trip around the sun
One more dance
Another day
To get it right
Yeah, one more kiss
One more touch
Another song
Another night
Just one more time

Just wanna make sure
That I did it all right
I just wanna make sure
I loved and cared and gave with all my might
‘Cause there’ll be a moment
Yeah, there always is
When I won’t get another day like this

One more time
One more chance
One more trip around the sun
One more dance
Another day
To get it right
Yeah, one more kiss
One more touch
Another song
Another night
Just one more time

For you - and for your Dad. Not the best thing, but the most appropriate.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_ydsHIhiFY

Well in this world of sorrow, trouble and temptation
Jesus always promised trial and tribulation
Then He said, "You don't have to fret or fear
Children, be of good cheer and keep walkin' on"
Children, keep walkin' on, keep walkin' on
Keep walkin' on, keep walkin' on

In Jesus Christ the truth is found
He'll keep our feet on solid ground
Sometimes we have to just believe
What He put in the Book for us to read
Satan you can't fool this girl
My Lord overcame this world
And I'm walkin' on, yeah I'm walkin' on
Lord, I'm walkin' on, yeah I'm walkin' on

Well Jesus walked on the water, Peter walked on it too
God gave you the power to do what you cannot do
Every road we travel He's traveled down before
There ain't no need to worry where it leads to anymore
I'm walkin' on, I'm walkin' on, I'm walkin' on
I'm walkin' on, I'm walkin' on, I'm walkin' on

Well the road is narrow and it's straight
But it leads right up to the Golden Gate
It may be rough it may be long
But I don't have to walk alone
Step by step and day by day
He takes my hand and I hear Him say
Keep walkin' on, gotta keep walkin' on
Oh, keep walkin' on, oh keep walkin' on

What you gonna do, can't pay the rent
Yeah what you gonna do when the money's spent
What you gonna do when you just can't cope
Hey, what you gonna do when you're outta hope
Oh, keep walkin' on, oh keep walkin' on:
The universe doesn't hate you. Unless your name is Tsutomu Yamaguchi

My sincerest condolences, Lando. Six months ago my father passed on and in time I have come to understand and accept his brief moment in this cycle of life. Hug your children and remember the love and laughter. I offer my prayers for you and yours.

Lando!  I am so very sorry to hear this.

I know how much he's influenced your life and how it's manifested itself in the father you are to your boys.

God bless you, friend.

So sorry to hear that, Lando.  You will always miss him, but you also will find comfort knowing you loved him and he loved you, as well. Right now, the hurt is too much, but you can be glad he is no longer suffering.

This song has been an ear worm for me going on 3 days.....heard it on Mike Savage's bumper music while in the car one night.

Always loved this song.

Your earworm infected me. No idea why that and this are associated in my head.

I liked how they did the song. And, baby it's cold outside here. It's supposed to get up to 60 and rain, then drop down and snow with ice. That's typical Ohio weather.
