I really like John Anderson.
Anderson always struck me as having a kind of weird accent.

Good night all.  It was a long day and the old bones need rest.  This is becoming a special place.

I heard he drives a lot of drummers crazy because his vocals are a partial beat off of time.

Thanks for all the well wishes.  This allergy season is kicking my butt ~ between age & living in Houston for so many years, it just gets worse each year.  blah

It was real easy to get caught up on this thread, and spend so much time here.

Much thanks to all of you that posted so many great videos.

Oh boy... Allergies can reach a point where they just seem inescapable.  Hope relief is on the way.

Casting Crowns - East to West

Warning, this song cuts to the bone, when I first heard this song I was at work in my cube and broke down and was sobbing like a baby. I had to duck down, heart broken because I have failed Christ and fallen so short of my calling, in all parts of my life. The end of it particulary has some lyrics that cut deep.

I'm not holding onto you but you're holding onto me ...

I hope that is true, because I am lost ...
It is almost a law of history that the same wealth that generates a civilization announces its decay. For wealth produce ease as well as art; it softens a people to the ways of luxury and peace and invites invasion from stronger arms and hungrier mouths.

Excellent!

If I'd heard that on the radio, I wouldn't have known it was a duet.  They sound alike!

Traveling Wilburys - Handle With Care

Turn those speakers up!  And singalong!

Handle Me With Care - George Harrison

Been beat up and battered 'round
Been sent up, and I've been shot down
You're the best thing that I've ever found
Handle me with care

Reputations changeable
Situations tolerable
Baby, you're adorable
Handle me with care

I'm so tired of being lonely
I still have some love to give
Won't you show me that you really care

Everybody's got somebody to lean on
Put your body next to mine, and dream on

I've been fobbed off, and I've been fooled
I've been robbed and ridiculed
In day care centers and night schools
Handle me with care

Been stuck in airports, terrorized
Sent to meetings, hypnotized
Overexposed, commercialized
Hand me with care

I'm so tired of being lonely
I still have some love to give
Won't you show me that you really care

Everybody's got somebody to lean on
Put your body next to mine, and dream on

I've been uptight and made a mess
But I'll clean it up myself, I guess
Oh, the sweet smell of success
Handle me with care

Traveling Wilburys - End Of The Line

The End Of The Line

Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, doing the best you can
Well it's all right, as long as you lend a hand

You can sit around and wait for the phone to ring
Waiting for someone to tell you everything
Sit around and wonder what tomorrow will bring
Maybe a diamond ring

(chorus 2)
Well it's all right, even if they say you're wrong
Well it's all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's all right, as long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's all right, everyday is judgement day

Maybe somewhere down the road aways
Youll think of me, and wonder where I am these days
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays
Purple haze

(chorus 3)
Well it's all right, even when push comes to shove
Well it's all right, if you got someone to love
Well it's all right, everythingll work out fine
Well it's all right, were going to the end of the line

Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive
Im just glad to be here, happy to be alive
It don't matter if you're by my side
Im satisfied

(chorus 4)
Well it's all right, even if you're old and grey
Well it's all right, you still got something to say
Well it's all right, remember to live and let live
Well it's all right, the best you can do is forgive

(chorus 5)
Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, even if the sun don't shine
Well it's all right, were going to the end of the line

This is a song that we can ALL sing!
