And, Trump's sister said she did Trump's homework, therefore he did not do it, and the sister says she was trying to find a college that would accept him, and he got a young man to take his (Trump's) SAT test to get in a college. I have 9 books that gives dates of lies in his early life and when an adult, and, he lies constantly, and, we just found out Trump lied about the seriousness of the COVID-19 virus.
If other things were equal between them, I would not take the one who lies constantly, that being Trump.
The thread is about Biden not giving credit to people when he used their words, but he is running against Trump, so the comparison should be made. Certainly, he should give credit when he accurately says phrases/sentences, someone else put together in a public way.
I did not do that in college/university, but I was there when someone else did it.
Do you remember famous Pianist Van Cliburn? When I graduated high school, I went to college that summer, Kilgore Jr. College. Van was also starting college and after classes, he and I would go to a small cafe close by and he would play the piano there for us until the school bus came to pick us up.
We were in the same English class. We had to write a paper with footnotes. He and I were in the library together, and, smiling, he pointed to something in a book. He said he was copying all of it. So, we turned in the papers when due. The next day, the instructor went on and on about this wonderful paper Van had written. Van looked at me and smiled. (No way would I tell on him.)
The English teacher said she wanted to see me after class. At that time, she asked me where I learned to do proper, excellent footnotes. I told her two English teachers in high school had me type their Master's Thesis, so I had to learn it.
So, Van Cliburn got praises for plagiarizing, and I got praise for typing correct footnotes.
Van and I had the same piano teacher. He went on to get praise for his piano playing in Russia, and I was a church pianist.
