Chicago police release surveillance video of suspects seen looting store in May
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying all those involved

    Chicago police on Tuesday released surveillance video asking for the public's help in identifying a group of people who broke in and ransacked a store on the city's West Side back in May.

Video showed dozens of people swarming the West Chicago Avenue business, which sold electronics among other items, around 1:45 p.m. on May 31.

Many were captured taking whatever merchandise they could find over a roughly 25-minute period. At least one person violently kicked and shattered a protective covering under a counter that housed additional items.

Why? Why identify them? So what?
Let's say they are identified.
Let's say they are charged with theft.
Let's say by some miracle they are arrested.
So what? Nothing will be done anyway.
They will be released in a few hours, like all the rioters and thugs are.
My point is, why go through all the pretense of identifying them, charging them, and arresting them when everyone knows beforehand that nothing will come of it? It will all be dismissed and they will walk, like always.
It is like the Cops are 'playing' Cops and Robbers like children.
I'm going to arrest you! You have to stay in the cardboard jail for one hour!
Today, we have a pretend justice system.
Let arrest the looters and "pretend" like we are enforcing the law. That should shutup all those crazy right wing people.

True enough. Not only are many mayors of large cities and govs. of many states leftists, there are many leftist DAs and judges who are more than willing to subvert the constitution to achieve the "progressive" result.
