Slaying? Killing?  Didn't the autopsy say there was no indication of foul play here?

Why do other headlines always say 'alleged' and this one doesn't?

This is tantamount to convicting these guys, isn't it?

The cases of four Minnesota former police officers charged in George Floyd’s death should be combined into a single trial, the state's attorney general said in a motion filed Wednesday.

Floyd, a Black man, was killed in police custody in Minneapolis on May 25 after an officer, who was recorded in a bystander’s video, knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes. Three other officers were at the scene – as witnesses filmed it and, along with Floyd, pleaded with police to let him breathe. He eventually lost consciousness and was later pronounced dead at the Hennepin County Medical Center.

The medical examiner ruled the manner of death a homicide.

Derek Chauvin, the officer seen in the video with his knee on Floyd’s neck, faces charges of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao each face charges of aiding and abetting second-degree murder and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.

Oh, and here's the Minneapolis PD's recommended procedures to restrain felons who resist like Floyd.  How can there be a 'killing' anyway when one goes by the book?

Everybody should watch the video especially what led up to Chauvin putting his knee on the back of Floyd's neck. The video shows that a semi-deranged, hysterical, high on drugs with a bad heart Floyd did much to get himself deceased.
The video proves that, once again, we should wait until all the facts (or as much evidence as is possible) is revealed.
Now I know why the corrupt Minnesota AG, Ellison,  didn't release the whole video at the time. He deliberately poured gasoline on the fire.

Floyd had a lethal dose of fentanyl in his blood... He killed himself.

Floyd had a lethal dose of fentanyl in his blood... He killed himself.
And it was finally released.  Yesterday.
Minnesota v. Derek Chauvin et al: The Prosecution’s Dirty Little Secret
Medical examiner’s memorandum on Floyd’s toxicology report proves cause of death to be drug overdose, not murder.

...in light of Floyd’s toxicology results and the medical examiner’s assessment that Floyd’s fentanyl overdose caused him to essentially drown in his own bodily fluid, why haven’t the charges against all of the police defendants been dropped?

The handwriting is on the wall. Through all of the rioting, looting, and burning, the prosecution has kept secret its knowledge that George Floyd died as the result of a self-administered overdose of fentanyl. The Chief Medical Examiner of Hennepin County said as much way back on May 31, 2020.

But, now that the truth has finally emerged, it’s well past time to call a halt to this illegal and unfounded “murder” case and to let these wrongfully accused men go free.[/b]

In my mind, people have died in riots due to the actions of the prosecutors.

They need to go down, and hard.
