Couldn’t agree more with what @VanJones68 just said so eloquently on @CNN.  The pardon was just.  The story was compelling. The exploitation of it as an event at a political convention it cheapened it.

John Peterson, owner of 165-person Schuette Metals of Wausau, WI, says Obama and Biden couldn’t get government out of their way and put their business in a tailspin, which led to staff cuts. “Obama-Biden era banking regs left us no choice.” he says.

“When I hear Joe Biden is ready to raise taxes, crush us with regulations, and weaken our international trade position, I shudder.” Not the time to hand things over to a “washed-up politician.” Peterson says.
