Goodyear corporate is backing off the issue and saying we are a great company and
respect everyone. Of course they do not address the acceptable/unacceptable item
lists.

UNACCEPTABLE
Blue LIves Matter,
All Lives Matter, and
MAGA Attire.

ACCEPTABLE
Black Lives Matter (BLM)
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
Transgender Pride (LGBT)

To recover, Goodyear will have to throw whichever employees, Divisions, or
Executives who made such a chart and showed it to their employees. Goodyear
executives are now giving tap dancing lessons. Get your popcorn early as it will be
a wonderful performance.

It should be noted that Goodyear has one employee who is looking out for his
company and his country. Cheers to that hero and his smart phone camera.
yep, diversity training is the hellhole of being an employee.

We had one come into our office to lecture us that "The company is racist".  I stood up and challenged him as I told him he was declaring each employee was also racist with that statement, and that did not sit well with me.

Not too long afterwards, I was no longer an employee.

If you look at the posts above, apparently Goodyear has rescinded their stance -- Goodyear Chairman Rich Kramer released a statement that said in part, “We have clarified our policy to make it clear associates can express support for law enforcement through apparel at Goodyear facilities.”

While I agree that Trump's focus on his MAGA hats was in poor taste; apparently it had more of a positive impact.  BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!

ooops, we got caught..

Do you believe it is wrong to make a statement like "Make America Great Again"?

Why do you disagree with that statement?

Goodyear Issues Another Statement After Damning Audio Leak

Posted by ScotFree | Aug 21, 2020 | USA | 0 |

Goodyear is yet again backpedaling after a leaked image and audio from an alleged employee training course suggested the company was engaging in apparent discrimination against conservatives, seemingly barring employees from publicly supporting law enforcement or All Lives Matter, while expressly permitting the promotion of Black Lives Matter and pro-LGBT messages.

In a statement from Goodyear CEO and President Rich Kramer released on Thursday, the company “clarified” that employees are permitted to publicly support law enforcement, contrary to the leaked slide and audio.

“The slide in question was created by a plant employee to try to explain what is acceptable to wear in the workplace,” the company admitted. “The slide was not approved or distributed by Goodyear Corporate or anyone outside that facility.”

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.  In the abstract, the words "black lives matter" is something we all ought to agree with (although over half of black preborn lives never even make it, to the applause of the DNC platform)

But BLM, of course, doesn't mean that simple sentiment but rather a racialist, Marxist organization with a propensity for violence.  Same with MAGA - the sentiment isn't controversial but we all know the phrase refers to Trump's political campaign.

Translation:  Goodyear draws substantial revenue through contracts for fitting police vehicles all across the country (1.2 million tires total) with their brand, so they are willing to give lip service to Blue Lives Matter in order to protect that revenue.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

People are supporting COMMUNISTS, to their own demise.  This is what happened to all the people, when MENTAL HEALTH CLINICS were shut down in the 80's.  THEY ARE IN POSITIONS OF POWER NOW, BUT MENTALLY ILL.

No.  I have absolutely no problem with the slogan "Make America Great Again".  None

The issue is his focus is being seen on his campaign slogan rather than the issue at hand --- nothing more than that.

That's just it -- trying to appease "social justice" and "political correctness" is in part what is destroying not only this country but the GOP party.

So we agree - Making America Great Again is not controversial, any more than if he or anyone else said "I am proud to be an American' or "I salute the flag of this country'.

By the same token, of course Black Lives Matter as well as any other life.

Got something against Olives?  Not that I like them on my pizza or nuthin'.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
