Trump-Hating Mayor of San Juan Badly Defeated in Gubernatorial Primary Race
by Jeremy FrankelPosted: August 17, 2020

Over the weekend, San Juan Mayor and noted Trump-hater Carmen Yulín Cruz of the Popular Democratic Party (PDP) was defeated in her primary bid for the Puerto Rican governorship to Carlos Delgado.

As of Sunday night, Delgado led with 60% of the vote, followed by Senator Eduardo Bhatia with 23%, and Cruz received only 13%.

Cruz became famous in 2017 by constantly criticizing President Trump and his response to Hurricane Maria. Since then, she has consistently called him a racist and blamed him for thousands of Puerto Rican deaths.

However, it was reported that hundreds of thousands of water bottles meant for the hurricane’s victims were found on an airport runway a year later. At the time, FEMA told CBS News that the water was brought inland and turned over to the “central government.”

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz (PDP), who rose to the national spotlight after routinely criticizing President Trump and his administration over the nation’s response to Hurricane Maria in 2017, lost her primary bid for governor of Puerto Rico over the weekend.

Cruz failed to secure the Popular Democratic Party’s (PDP) nomination for governor, losing to Carlos Delgado in what amounted to a messy primary hallmarked by missing ballots and delays.

According to the Miami Herald, Delgado led with 63 percent of the vote with 60 percent of precincts reporting Sunday evening. Puerto Rico Sen. Eduardo Bhatia fell behind Delgado with 23 percent of the vote, followed by Cruz with 13, the outlet reported.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

This is great news!!
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
