Oregon State Police Pull Out Of Protecting Portland Courthouse After City Refuses To ‘Prosecute This Criminal Behavior,’

Security officials form a line across a street in Portland, Oregon early July 26, 2020, as protests continue across the United States following the death in Minneapolis of unarmed African-American George Floyd. - Police and federal agents fired tear gas and forcefully dispersed protesters in the US city of Portland, amid President Donald Trump's heavily-criticized "surge" of security forces to major cities. The city, the biggest in the state of Oregon, has seen nightly protests against racism and police brutality for nearly two months, initially sparked by the death of unarmed African American George Floyd at the hands of police in Minnesota

The Oregon State Police announced on Thursday that it was pulling out its roughly 100 state troopers from protecting the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse in downtown Portland after the city’s district attorney announced that he is not pursuing charges against the rioters who have been arrested.

The Oregon State Police had committed to helping local law enforcement officials deal with the violent riots for a period of two weeks, which has now expired.

“We’re in a county that’s not going to prosecute this criminal behavior,” said spokesman Capt. Timothy R. Fox.

DA Takes the Side of Rioters Over Cops, Emboldening Antifa and Leading State Police to Abandon Portland

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/tyler-o-neil/2020/08/14/antifa-emboldened-da-wont-prosecute-rioting-so-state-police-leave-portland-n791846

Quote
Earlier this week, Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced that he would not prosecute some of the charges against violent antifa rioters in Portland, including the charge of riot. Sheriff Mike Reese warned that this move may make the violent “Antifa/anarchists … feel even more emboldened.” That seems extremely likely, especially since Oregon State Police (OSP) decided to withdraw from the area. In announcing the withdrawal on Thursday, OSP spokesman Capt. Timothy Fox noted, “We’re in a county that’s not going to prosecute this criminal behavior.”
...
Oregon State Police had sent approximately 100 troopers to protect the federal courthouse in an agreement that allowed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to make the presence of federal law enforcement less visible. DHS had scaled up in order to protect federal property after state and local officials prevented federal cooperation with Portland Police and OSP. Gov. Kate Brown (D-Ore.) and Mayor Ted Wheeler (D-Portland) had decided to blame President Donald Trump for somehow instigating the violence (even though it had been going on for a month before DHS bolstered its presence), rather than engaging with violent rioters.

Although antifa rioters had begun to target the police union and a police precinct in a residential neighborhood in recent days, on Wednesday night they returned to the federal courthouse and the justice center, launching commercial-grade fireworks at the federal courthouse and setting a fire outside the building. As the police reported, rioters wore helmets and gas masks while carrying shields and batons. They also shined green lasers at officers’ eyes. Rioters later launched explosives and commercial-grade fireworks directly at police officers, in addition to pelting them with rocks.

What has me curious is that it looks like the deal by which Federal officers were withdrawn was predicated on Oregon State Police protecting Federal property. So this pull-out may nullify that deal.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Sooner or later "the feds" are gonna have to "go back in" -- probably with U.S. Army troops this time.

The municipal police won't protect the citizens any longer.
The state police won't protect the citizens any longer.
The mayor won't protect the citizens any longer.
The district attorney's office won't protect the citizens any longer.
The governor won't protect the citizens any longer.

Who WILL protect them, and guarantee the "domestic tranquility" the Constitution specifies...?
