A New York man pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to ISIS, which included spreading the terrorist group’s propaganda online and calling for supporters to commit attacks in New York City, a Justice Department statement said Monday.
Zachary Clark, 41, also known as “Umar Kabir,†“Umar Shishani,†and “Abu Talha, was accused of pledging allegiance to ISIS twice, and disseminating ISIS propaganda on online forums intended for potential recruits, associates and supporters of the group, the statement said.
