That is the long standing definition of socialism. And yes, Bernie, AOC and others are pushing for full on socialism. Nationalizing industry is what they want. Not just social programs paid for by taxpayers.

Communism is the next step in the totalitarian ladder where the workers are owned by the state and there is no private property.

OK, thanks I will have to look up that Nationalizing Industry to see what you are talking about.  I have always thought all "social program's" were Socialism.  Probably because they are widely described as such.  You have sparked my interest to know more.

No.  Not purposely.  The goal is the same.  It appears they just think it hasn't gone far enough.  Far enough for me with all the reports of crimes committed by First Act recipients.  It certainly has not been good for this country.  Not for the citizens.  Not making our streets safer.  Putting citizens in danger.  What is factual is that Leo Terrell specifically mention that Trump was getting his people out of jail.  I am not for anyone that considers criminals their people.  There was the story of that guy Trump promoted on stage that went back to selling Meth.  That isn't good for anyone's people, but that is one story.  There have been several including murder.

You just gloss over the part where BLM and Koch Bro created it all and Trump took credit for it.  If BLM was in charge everyone would get out.  The act is not perfect. It was an olive branch to people who have been striving for actual prison reform. The murders that got out were all scheduled to get out within 45 days anyway. This did not target letting them out.  It was mostly aimed at people in for drugs and it recalculated time for good behavior and also created programs for rehabilitation and job training.  The press is just going to put the worst spin on it cuz orange man bad.  I can’t trust anything you post and always have to research it to find the truth.

Hey you know what I can't trust anything you say either.

The Republican and Democrat-supported criminal justice reform legislation, known as the “First Step Act,” has already allowed hundreds of violent convicted criminals to be released from federal prison, records reveal.

The First Step Act, championed by a coalition of the leftist criminal justice reform movement, mogul Kim Kardashian West, and libertarian organizations funded by the billionaire Koch brothers, was signed into law last year by President Trump as advocates repeatedly claimed violent criminals would not be released early from prison.

Federal records exclusively obtained by Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson reveal that since the law’s enactment this year, the First Step Act has already freed hundreds of violent criminals from prison, including:

59 convicted killers and assailants
239 convicted sex offenders
960 inmates with drug convictions
106 convicted robbers
496 inmates with weapons and explosives convictions
Also among the roughly 2,200 convicts already released from federal prison are 46 inmates who have been convicted for immigration-related offenses — this could be illegal aliens who repeatedly crossed the U.S.-Mexico border or human smugglers that have helped traffic foreign nationals into the country.

Another nine inmates released thus far were convicted for counterfeit and embezzlement and two inmates released were convicted on national security violations.

Exclusive: Violent criminals and sex offenders released early due to 'First Step Act' legislation

#1  I don't think Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and the Koch Brothers should be dictating law in the United States.  I think everyone should watch the Tucker Carlson interview with Republican John Sen. Kennedy.

# 2 The Act was only supposed to release non violent criminals.  Not homicide or aggravated assault, Sex offenders, people on charges of explosives...etc.

# 3 You said they would have been released within 45 days.  This is what Tucker was told:  Nevertheless, on Tuesday, special assistant to the president Ja'Ron Smith told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" that many of the violent inmates would shortly have been released regardless of the First Step Act.

-end

I imagine the victims of these crimes are counting the days that these perpetrators are let out of prison.   I don't care if its 1 year, 45 days or a day its too soon.  If the perpetrator gets out and commits the crime it is a travesty of justice.  Most Americans if they knew this stuff would be just as outraged as myself.  Because most would agree if its your loved one who was killed, your child abused , your son or daughter trafficked you never want to see them out.  And sentences couldn't be long enough.  My only wish is that people actually knew what this Administration did with the help of the Koch Brothers to release violent criminals back out on our streets.

They certainly are not my people.

And the same players are now working on police reform.

Gang member released under First Step Act wanted for murder
Daniel Horowitz · October 8, 2019

It’s exactly why proponents of the bipartisan leniency for violent drug traffickers and gang members didn’t want a transparent debate in Congress over the bill. It’s why they stifled all dissent and rammed the biggest change to federal prison sentencing in three decades through the House on a “suspension vote” with no debate or hearings during the last moments in session last year, when all eyes were focused on the pending government shutdown. They didn’t want you to know they’d be releasing people like Joel Francisco of Providence, Rhode Island.

In order to perpetuate the lie that we are somehow unjustly incarcerating too many people for too long and that there is a general over-incarceration problem, particularly in federal prison, phony conservatives joined liberals in selling the First Step Act as nothing more than “prison reform,” never telling the fact that it dramatically cut sentencing for thousands of hardened criminals. They told us it would only affect first time, low-level, non-violent offenders. In reality, federal prosecutors only pursue the worst criminals in a given area, who are often gang leaders fueling widespread violence, and convict them on drug charges. That is why CR is the only legislation scorecard that had the fortitude to score against this travesty of a bill.

In February, when the first wave of prisoners were released, Joel Francisco was among them. Who is Joel Francisco? According to Cmdr. Thomas Verdi, deputy chief of the Providence Police Department, quoted in the Providence Journal, he is a “cold, evil, violent person.”

“Some criminals deserve to spend their lives incarcerated,” Verdi said. “Joel is one.”

I wish that more people would make themselves aware of news like this.

Trump worked with Koch Brothers, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Cory Booker to make this country less safe for its citizens.

Like I said before First Step isn’t perfect.  It’s a set of guidelines meant to help people who were given harsh sentences for non violent drug crimes.  Joel Francisco went to jail under the 3 strike law for 3 cocaine convictions.  The problem lies with a Rhode Island judge that found Joel Francisco to be eligible for release when he didn’t have a good record while being incarcerated. Someone has to review and resentence and a mistake was made by a judge, imagine that.

With overcrowded jails, it’s stupid to have so many people with life sentences for drug violations. That death is at the hands of the judge, not President Trump.

I have said it before that First Step Act was BLM First Act.  You told me they were two different things, but now I see that it wasn't.  Implying that I was rewriting history.  I was ready to believe you and thought that I was mistaken.  But now I see I wasn't and its jus that these extremists want more.  Like any terrorist group you can't appease.  Koch brothers, Democrats and BLM all working to do away with law and order.

You can't appease terrorists.  And Trump tried but they aren't happy still so they are burning our police stations.  And soon the same group of idiots that pledged all that money to reform prisoners will pass new police reform too.  Pandering to the BLM.  It will be the Second Act.  And still won't be enough until they have complete control which is the same anarchy that we are seeing in the streets now, and Trump won't do a thing.

Don't tell me about minivan snatching.  Watch some video's.  We need military presence on the streets.  Our cities right now do look like a war zone.  Trump is allowing our cities to resemble something out of Afghanistan or Iraq.  And @LegalAmerican is saying we need to wait until November when the president wins to do something.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/07/26/report-first-step-act-frees-hundreds-of-sex-offenders-convicted-murderers/

So also I wanted to state that it isn't stupid to have drug related prisoners in prison.  Drugs are not a victimless crime.  The African Americans are the victims of drug related crime ridden neighborhoods as well as most poverty stricken communities.  I know that you know this.  Drugs drive poverty and crime.  And the Cartel are in every major city.  It drives violent crime.  It steals our children to a life of desperation and drug addiction.

Insurrection Act now!
