Leo Terrell is voting for Trump!
« on: July 18, 2020, 10:05:52 pm »
It use to be that I couldn't get to the remote quick enough when this guy came up on my screen!

The guy would rant and rave, on and on and just wouldn't Shut Up!!

Anti republican, typical 'civil rights' democrat attorney all the way!
(yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah)

Imagine my shock when I watched him say the following on Hannity the other night!
(At 3:23 of the video he says: "Sean, I'm voting for Trump!")

What happens when the choice is between destruction of the country or not, vs. a basic left vs right argument.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Let's hope it's a trend.

Any rational person is going to want to live in a society that is governed by the rule of law.

Any rational person is going to want to live in a society where disagreements are resolved by discussing the issue in a calm thoughtful manner.

Any rational person is going to want to live in a society where their personal liberty is protected and not infringed upon by an all powerful govt.

We will see in Nov. whether we are still a rational people, or a mob of out of control fools.

"I'm the same Leo".  Yeah, did you hear his first comment.  Biden had 8 years for his socialism and he failed.  Yeah he's the same Leo alright.

:3:  He's the same Leo that has wanted to enslave African Americans with Socialism and he is seeing Trump is the guy to get it done.

I think that is debatable.  Trump has promoted socialist idea's like universal healthcare.  He is promoting Family leave.  The PPP COVID spending was socialism.  I posted several links on another thread.

Leo Terrell Reveals What Caused Him to Leave the Democratic Party

"The Democratic Party in 2020 is as follows: it's been hijacked by Black Lives Matter and that's why I've shifted away from the Democratic Party.

and-

"Let me be as clear as possible: I, as a black man, as an American, do not support Black Lives Matter. Why? Very simple. Black Lives Matter doesn't care about all black lives," he said.

Well he says he is leaving because of BLM.  He didn't realize that BLM and Koch brothers were behind the First Act Prison reform bill.  Either he didn't know or he really has more in common with them.   It isn't any wonder that this liberal would support Trump and just for the reason he said above. It was the president that got them out of jail.  Well, and the First Act is about enslaving their community to more crime.  It certainly has been proven that many violent criminals have been released.  Many reports of these criminals committing crimes as soon as they are released.

Koch Exec, Black Lives Matter in Group Pushing Prison Reform
Unlikely partners are banding together to find bipartisan solutions to problems like racial disparity and the effects of a 1994 crime bill in policing and prisons.

Excerpt:

The Council on Criminal Justice has two initial research projects underway, with reports expected later this year. One is exploring incarceration trends by race and gender.

The other is examining fallout from the 1994 crime bill passed under President Bill Clinton and largely crafted by then-Sen. Joe Biden, who's faced blowback as a Democratic presidential hopeful over the measure that some have blamed for the mass incarceration of racial minorities. The bill put stricter sentencing terms on crack versus power cocaine.

The council includes former California Gov. Jerry Brown, a Democrat, and Kentucky Republican Gov. Matt Bevin. It also has Charles Ramsey, a former police leader in Washington and Philadelphia, and Black Lives Matter lead organizer DeRay Mckesson.

The group's co-chairs are Mark Holden, senior vice president for Koch Industries, the Kansas-based energy conglomerate of conservative billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch; and Sally Yates, the former deputy U.S. attorney general fired by Trump after she refused to defend his travel ban on residents of some majority-Muslim countries.

Oh, and you can see why he isn't supporting Biden.  Biden was tough on crime and Terrell obviously made mention of it.

Socialism has a specific meaning regarding economics/government. It is where individuals are not allowed to own the means of production. It is the "government" collective who owns the means of production. Trump is no where near that philosophy.

Social programs that do not own the means of production do not equate to socialism. It's a common misconception. An error I've made myself.

Trump is a populist. There are no core fixed principles he's trying to live by or direct the country by. His plans can change on a dime depending on how he feels about something and what gets him traction from his base supporters.

I have always thought of your description as Communism.  If we applied your meaning to Socialism (and I am not implying it is yours, just what you posted from a source) then not even the most extremist liberals are pushing socialism.  Not Biden and probably not even Bernie who I consider Communist.

Mr Terrell maybe this is your idea about what is good.

Horowitz: Man released by First Step Act rearrested for meth trafficking
Daniel Horowitz · March 9, 2020
Trump’s often-spoken instincts on punishing drug traffickers were correct. Therefore, he might want to think twice before his son-in-law or Kim Kardashian convince him to stand at a podium with drug traffickers released early from prison like Obama did. Now, one of those who spoke at a jailbreak press conference with him has been rearrested for drug trafficking after obtaining early release under the First Step Act.

On April 1, 2009, Trump held a summit with prisoners released under the First Step Act to celebrate passage of the bill. One of those convicts celebrated at the podium was Troy Powell, whom Trump referred to as a great electrician and even joked about using him one day for work in the White House. He celebrated the fact that Powell was hired by a lumber company in North Carolina.

Trump then brought him to the lectern amid rousing applause from the crowd. Powell thanked all of the jailbreak organizations like Cut 50 that helped get the legislation passed. Choked up with emotion, Powell said that “more needs to be done” and that he left many others behind in prison. “There’s people doing 40, 50 years, for nothin’, I mean absolutely nothing,” lamented Powell. The Republican National Committee even tweeted out the video.

It was one of those heartwarming moments. The tenor of that press conference was all about the injustice to criminals, not victims, as if the federal government just randomly grabbed great people and locked them up forever, and if only we abolished prison, we’d live happily ever after.

Fast-forward roughly a year later, and Powell was arrested in North Carolina with three others and charged with meth trafficking. Thousands of Americans are dying because of people like this. And this can’t be blamed on lack of job opportunities. This is a man who literally has the president’s ear and was given a job, but he was allegedly back to his old ways almost immediately.

Leo has had a lot of pull in the black community; after all, his career has been one of suing The Man and defending the little guy, who was often a black guy.

His declaration to vote for Trump is part of a growing trend, cultivated by Donald Trump, of black folks defecting from the liberal plantation. Trump will be the beneficiary of the largest number of blacks voting republican since reconstruction.

This is a good thing.

The Conservative Black community is growing so fast right now. This support of rioting is backfiring on the Dems. Black people are looking at BLM “protests” and seeing over half the crowd of SJWs and Antifa and realizing they are being used to push an agenda that they don’t want to be a part of representing. The black conservatives are forming a movement and they are not quiet or passive about it. They are an amazing bunch of people and it’s exciting watching them speak out to other blacks about the real history of the Republican and Democrat party.

There are also a lot of gays joining the Republican side. A lot of them are upset about the whole gender craziness going on. They are not going along with the crazy pronouns and calling yourself whatever you feel like that day.  They also are not with destroying the country and defunding police because they are smart enough to realize that with no laws they are among the first to be persecuted.

The Walkaway campaign is going strong. The Unsilent Majority is planning a March in October.  I am feeling really pumped about this election.  My only worry is voter fraud. We have to have a landslide!

It takes real courage to be a Black Pub. The mob mentality that is overtaking our country may well cause a backlash, but until I see it I'm going to be skeptical.

Leo is but one man, but if this is any indicator, I say it will be a tsunami in November.  Trump will bury Biden, and perhaps the Democommie Party.

No.  Not purposely.  The goal is the same.  It appears they just think it hasn't gone far enough.  Far enough for me with all the reports of crimes committed by First Act recipients.  It certainly has not been good for this country.  Not for the citizens.  Not making our streets safer.  Putting citizens in danger.  What is factual is that Leo Terrell specifically mention that Trump was getting his people out of jail.  I am not for anyone that considers criminals their people.  There was the story of that guy Trump promoted on stage that went back to selling Meth.  That isn't good for anyone's people, but that is one story.  There have been several including murder.

That is the long standing definition of socialism. And yes, Bernie, AOC and others are pushing for full on socialism. Nationalizing industry is what they want. Not just social programs paid for by taxpayers.

Communism is the next step in the totalitarian ladder where the workers are owned by the state and there is no private property.
