Portland mayor allows Antifa to rule the night, media reacts in ‘horror’ to fed officials restoring order

The city of Portland, Oregon, stands as a beacon of failed progressive leadership in America, as radical anarchists and other hard-left revolutionaries all but control the city and the city council handcuffs local police.
At the same time, the national media has practically become the mouthpiece for the Antifa brigade there, as seen Friday in a Washington Post article about “men in green military fatigues and generic ‘police’ patches†springing out of unmarked minivans to scoop militant thugs off the street.
Identifying Mark Pettibone, 29, as the intended target of one such maneuver, the Post shared his take on events.
“I was terrified,†Pettibone told the paper. “It seemed like it was out of a horror/sci-fi, like a Philip K. Dick novel. It was like being preyed upon.â€
In fact, the entire episode was presented from Pettibone’s point of view, as the paper questioned the legality of federal officials driving around Portland in unmarked cars — the Portland resident said that he was taken to a holding cell, never told why he was detained or given any record of an arrest when suddenly released.
A video was making the rounds online of one such incident, though it’s not clear if the person in the video was Pettibone.
