If Congress doesn’t bring fairness to Big Tech, which they should have done years ago, I will do it myself with Executive Orders. In Washington, it has been ALL TALK and NO ACTION for years, and the people of our Country are sick and tired of it!

Now watch... and observe how 'different' the treatment these leftist CEOs will be by the rats... compared to the Barr hearing yesterday.  The Democrats will be slavering and kissing their @sses, I  bet.

Considering how these ahole CEOs have been censoring and banning conservative groups and icons.... I'm surprised there is not more interest in this.   Weird.

I'm plenty interested in what the GOP intends to do about big tech's in-kind contributions to Biden's campaign.

Tried to watch a live stream but because not everyone was in the same room the constantly changing volume levels made it impossible.

I seriously doubt anything of substance will happen anyway as these people are ding the bidding of the Democrat party and the Media.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Because as Carlson has said a number of times....  There is huge contingent in the GOP in Big Tech's pocket.  Including Mike Lee.  So, I am guessing this is just grandstanding and fluster.

Yep.   Much ado (more Kabuki) about nothing.   They all like it the way it is so nothing will change.

Trump will need to do an EO.  Congress is too deep into the pockets of these companies to act.  Same EO should cover MSM which is just as biased.

I like your thinking, but it is almost impossible.  Here is my take in increasing difficulty

Facebook-  Very intrustive, deep sixed long ago.  Easy not to use, though you have to be griped at by family/friends for being isolated.
Google-  Very much, everyone should do their best to use alternatives like Duck Duck Go whenever possible.

Now it gets tougher-

Twitter- In the age of by the minute news, being current is critical, and not letting your opponents have a competitive advantage.  25 years ago a news cycle was defined as 72 hours, now it is an hour or two.  I know Partel is out there as an alternative, its okay, but really a David and Goliath situation.

Now the near impossible-

Amazon-  Simply stated, Bezos has us and the country by the balls.  As brick and mortar crumbles before our eyes, his monopoly has dangerously painted our retail economy into his lair and desires.  You think buy direct online?  Many of these are even subletting that function to this behmouth of unlimited power.  There is a reason Bezos is the most powerful and wealthy man in the world.  The world's first future Trillionaire will soon be the ulitmate puppeteer.  And there won't be no stopping him until a Rockefeller, JP Morgan, Carnegie, Vanderbilt type of anti-trust congressional action.  I am a free market economist, and I'd never dream of being this pro-anti trust, but we are seeing an exception.  Even the Titans of the late 1800's early 1900's never welding this much leverage on society singularly.

Facebook: Membership is incidental... SOGPIP (Silly old Grandma With Pictures in Purse)... If I want to participate in family photos then I must have Facebook.

Twitter: No participation at all.

Google: Impossible. Android phone. All my appointments, ToDos, Contacts and etc run through Giggles Assistant. Switching to Mac is no remedy, as they are every bit as bad.

Amazon: Impossible. Probably 75% of my business parts and materials come through Amazon.

But I do several things to mitigate. I run through 3 aliases online. Anything going through Goggles uses one alias, Everything through Microsoft another, and my normal surfing yet a third... To wit: I give them what they want, freely, each in their own sphere (to include browser), and never the twain shall meet. And what I really do is done in Firefox, and THAT alias is the real thing.
