Here's a man-bites-dog story:

The president of Goya Foods, America's largest Latino-owned food company with $1.5 billion in sales, did something virtually every other U.S. CEO has been way too chicken to do:

He praised President Trump. And for far-leftists such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, that was ample reason to put the successful minority-owned company out of business.

Here's what the man said to merit the socialist death sentence.

I don't recall having seen Goya products at our local supermarket, but I'll certainly be on the lookout henceforth, and support the company whenever I can.

Don't know about where you are, but here, the Giant Eagle chain has Goya products in a separate aisle for various ethnic/international foods -- obviously, in the Hispanic section.

To be honest, I've never had GOYA products. But what bothers me the most is how this mans free speech and right to his beliefs are condemned by the libs. Free speech and your beliefs only count when you say what they want you to say. It is heartbreaking to watch our country slide into the abyss!

They absolutely cannot tolerate anyone disagreeing with them. Maybe it's because they were so coddled as children, who knows. The snowflake generations, which I believe includes X, Y and Z (what's going to come after Gen Z, I wonder?), throw tantrums whenever they don't get exactly what they want or whenever anyone dares point out the error in their beliefs.

I'm going to guess that this boycott will end up like the one the perverts launched against Chick-fil-A. -- a massive failure.  During that "boycott," CFA made  a ton of money in sales to people who thumbed their noses at the malcontents and lined up for blocks at CFA restaurants to get their chicken.  I think Goya will have the same success if people ignore those who want to dictate what constitutes free speech and purchase their products.

I asked my Italian wife, "what about these chick peas?"

My wife and daughter in unison, say they are Garbanzos. Almost a staple for a decent Italian style salad.

Checking Wiki, and I find a variety of  these delightful globes, coming from Apulia, where my wife's family originates.

Anyway I think the foods, flavor, spices of the Med are similar.

Cheers for Goya Brand. My wife says she finds them at Aldi.

They are calling for nothing less than a race war. They NEED it AND a Dim President in order to be able to declare "A State of Martial Law exists for the duration of the emergency".
