Trump vs. Biden on America Past and Present
Their Independence Day messages tell us all we need to know about our 2020 choice.

Presidential elections are typically contests between politicians with unambiguously positive views of the United States and competing ideas about how to improve it. This year, however, we must choose between two people with competing perspectives about whether a positive view of our country is even possible. President Trump believes the United States is a great nation founded by great men upon whose work we can build an even greater future. His challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, believes the United States has fallen far short of the ostensible principles of its hypocritical founders and that the only way forward is to fundamentally transform it according to some ill-defined vision of social justice.

Biden, the first Vice President to serve under a black president, has seen no improvement in racism during the last 75 years.

If this description of Biden’s view seems unfair, consider his Fourth of July pre-recorded message to the voters: “Our country was founded on an idea: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’ We’ve never lived up to it. Jefferson himself didn’t. He held slaves.” This trite remark about Jefferson — compared to whom our erstwhile VP is a moral and intellectual midget — tells us far more about Biden than it says about the sage of Monticello. The latter was a man of the 18th century and subject to its cultural mores. Biden has no such excuse for his long association with segregationists and white supremacists. Here are Trump’s comments on Jefferson at Mount Rushmore.

Thomas Jefferson — the great Thomas Jefferson — was 33 years old when he traveled north to Pennsylvania and brilliantly authored one of the greatest treasures of human history, the Declaration of Independence. He also drafted Virginia’s constitution, and conceived and wrote the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, a model for our cherished First Amendment.… He was an architect, an inventor, a diplomat, a scholar, the founder of one of the world’s great universities, and an ardent defender of liberty. Americans will forever admire the author of American freedom, Thomas Jefferson.

There can be no question about the left being on the move.

What about you? Are YOU prepared to "be on the move" to resist them?

Pete wonders:
"What about you? Are YOU prepared to "be on the move" to resist them?"

My guess is -- for the vast majority of traditional-minded white Americans -- the answer is going to be [save for perhaps a final effort in the voting booths] -- no.

I'm currently working my way through "Mao - The Untold Story". It took him several decades of scheming, plotting and power-building to amass the forces with which he defeated the Nationalists and took over China.

I also recently finished "The Black Book of communism". One takeaway I have is that in all the nations that fell to the pestilence of communism it took many years for the party in each of those countries to amass sufficient power to attain critical mass -- either through military means or in the case of the Soviet Union itself, to consolidate that power after their surprise overthrow of the Moscow government.

Well, that's been going on here, RIGHT here in the USA -- and it's been "in progress" for the last 40 years (unless you wish to go back to the very roots in the 1910's-20's). They've kept it under wraps as much as they could as they gained control of the education system and the media as well, while building up a base of elected cadre that is now peeking out from behind the curtain.

Mr. Trump seems to have flushed the American communist movement into the open and into radar range for even normally-oblivious traditional-minded Americans to see. I sense the party believes the time is right or can be put off no longer, lest Mr. Trump further disrupt their chances. So they're all in for the putsche to open marxism.

Unlike most other Marxist revolutions, the one here will be accomplished without using the military. It will have been successful through long-term cultural and political cultivation. The "crops" are American youth. And we have but to look around to see that the grapes of communist wrath are growing heavy on our vines.

Will enough traditional-minded Americans be able to recognize the left for what it is and what its intentions are, and then act to stop them...?
That is the $64,000 question.

I don't know the answer.
But if Americans won't begin resisting en masse soon, I know what will follow:
2019: USA -- United States of America
2027: USSA -- United Socialist States of America
2035: USSSA -- United Soviet Socialist States of America
2042:  ?????

I agree. The Dims and their RINO buddies got too cocky after getting Bathhouse Barry in the Off-White House, and came out of hiding to expose themselves for who they really are. They just KNEW that Bubbette! was going to follow him into the WH,and that would be the death knell  for America as an independent nation.

Trump beat her,and the left went batshit crazy. They were already exposed,so they went for it by ordering their talking heads at all the news networks and all the other "influencers" out into the open in  a desperate attempt to keep him from getting re-elected. Anybody that thinks Trump is going to go easy on the left in a second term is a danger to both themselves and the public. He is going to beat them like a white whore in Martin Luther King Junior's motel room.

I wouldn't bet on that, either. Have you paid any attention to who the senior General's and Admiral's are these days? Remember,NONE of those people get their stars without the approval of Congress.

The saving grace here is I am not so sure the junior grade and the enlisted swine will follow their orders if they order them to attack American citizens.  That sort of thing just MIGHT have an opposite reaction than what they are looking for. I have no doubt a lot of the minorities and the illegal aliens who enlisted to gain citizenship will follow the orders out of both peer pressure, and in the case of the illegals wanting citizenship, desperation, but I just don't see the enlisted following enmass.

Don't forget, the enlisted swine in the military do not come from places where everyone has trust funds or goes to college at one of the "7 sisters".
