Russian Armored Vehicle Finishes Parade, Proceeds to Catch Fire

The parade went smoothly, but what happened after was a bit of a mess.

Russia held its 2020 Victory in Europe Day parade this week to commemorate the end of World War II.

The parade went relatively smoothly but after the parade was a different story

A Russian infantry carrier caught fire and had to be towed, and a World War II era tank fell off a flatbed and tumbled to the street below.

Meant to celebrate the Soviet Union’s triumph over Nazi Germany in World War II, Russia's Victory in Europe Day parade is a grand spectacle that also includes the latest Russian military equipment. The parade seemingly went off without a hitch, but after the marching stopped at least two incidents took place that illustrated how dealing with large, powerful armored vehicles in cities can be a risky endeavor.
