You sound like you've been well-programmed... got all the lingo down pat. Too bad it's all BS.
Democratic governance, like our representative republic, works just fine (and has) unless or until the commies get all uppity...like now, for instance....
and clearly need to be slapped the F down. If the Republicans in DC won't do the job....
i]We the People will have to.

Given your infantile grasp of history, suggest you refrain from labeling anyone else's comments BS.
The Rules of Natural Law guided Man some 5,000 years ago, in the person of Sargon of Akkad,
the earliest of Mankind's Monarchs/Rulers and conqueror of Mesopotamia.
Many followed him in the Fertile Crescent, later in Carthage, then Phoenicia, Egypt, Greece and Rome.
After the fall of the latter, the nation/states of Europe began to form, a trend that continued till the end of the 18th century.
The period from Sargon to Louis XVI spanned more than 4,000 years, during which Mankind's
greatest achievements in Art and Science were executed, Monarchy being the norm of rule.
Then the Enlightenment dawned followed by the French Revolution which turned its back to the
past, by asserting that material betterment was Man's higher and more noble calling.
This sea change in focus ushered in our current norms of governance, in the form of communism, socialism, representative democracy and the rest.
As Bernard of Chartres asserted in the 12th century, we moderns are conceited dwarfs who only see as far as we do because we are able to stand on the massive shoulders of the giants who proceeded us and made possible our ability to survive and thrive.
Our Founders included Virginians Jefferson, Madison and Monroe while we are only able to
produce jackasses such as Biden and Trump. But we are the greatest. Why of course!!!
