New petition demands St. Louis change its name because of ‘racist’ history

It should be noted that King Louis IX is the only French king to be canonized by the Catholic Church. It remains to be seen whether or not cancel culture will be successful in erasing him.

A new petition on Change.org is demanding that the city of St. Louis, Missouri change its name and take down a statue that honors King Louis IX of France, the city’s namesake.

The petition opens by pointing out how successful the “New Civil Rights Movement” has been in forcing the removal of various statues of controversial figures. That’s why those behind this petition say it’s time for the statue of the French king to be removed as well.

At this point... it should be dawning on every city official and anyone with any power at all to appease these cancel-morons... that the answer to that question "Where will it all end?" is obvious.  It won't.   

End the madness.  Just say no.  And begin the necessary mocking of any and all perpetually offended idiots that ""demand"" that a statue, name, song, logo, etc. be removed or erased due to whatever their whine-du-jour is.

The ones instigating tearing down the statues are anti-American commies/Marxists.  Their job is to destroy any and all American traditions, including our history and our historical monuments.  And in 100-150 years.... they (commies) will either all be dead or destroyed....

or we will be.

I don't think we have to worry about that though.   I don't think the world will last that much longer.  I give it another 10-30 years, at the most.

Louis IX's "sin" - in the BLMers and Antifoid's eyes - was having been a Crusader (Egypt and Tunis). Islam is not a race ... not that facts matter to BLM/Antifoid-grade Proggies.

I doubt the City of St. Louis would be stupid enough to bow to these thugs. I just wish the city would be VERY blunt in their refusal.
