@FeelNoPain For me, Trump's effort at being entertaining is one of the the things that turns me off. If I want to be entertained, I'll put on an old movie or tv show. IMO a president's job description does not include entertaining the masses. I want a president who leads, not entertains. I think this president spends way too much time entertaining and not doing his job.
Many off the minuses you mention -- I think there are voters out there who are on the fence about him. They don't want Biden because Biden would mean a return to the Obama era plus all the other *bleep* the radicals in the party want -- an assortment of free stuff, the New Green Deal, gun confiscation, amnesty for illegals, etc. -- and that scares them. But then they look at Trump -- sure the economy was great until recently and it's slowly getting better, but there are all the annoyances you mention. There is a question in their minds as to whether they can endure another four years of him.
Trump's base will vote for him this year, no question. But there is that group of independents, undecideds and disaffected Democrats. Many of them voted for Trump in 2016. It's questionable whether they will do so again in November. IMO, Trump is way too focused on entertaining and keeping his fans when he should also be trying to lure those outside his base.
