A few observations...

2. Georgia, for now, can be considered "a red state".
But... it is not going to remain one much longer.
3. I would expect to see a number of resignations by whites from the police departments of big cities down there.
4. Finally, if this case goes to a conviction on charges of "murder", and if president Trump is in office when it's settled, it would be a good instance of issuing a pardon. (I'd make sure the officer would agree to move far out-of-state...)
