IDIOT.

Roamer, you're being much too kind.
In history, the greatest leaders were those who grasped the vital importance and power of Prudence;
whereby decisions made in the now had to be measured against their impact on the future.
As such, reflection and reasoning prior to reacting, was a guiding maxim for them.
Over the past 100 years, voters have accepted a succession of buffoons, clowns, frauds, hustlers
and jackasses as their leaders; the consequence of this on our national psyche being self-evident
and average people know this in their bones. The ethos of our Founders has disappeared.
An aside:
The usual suspects, ceaselessly conflate conservatism and politics; oblivious to the reality that they have no interdependence on each other. None!
Prudence was/remains a cardinal precept of Principled Conservatism as asserted by the likes of
Plato and Edmund Burke.
