Democrats seize on protests, pandemic in push to flip state houses

Democrats are looking to seize upon the issues of racial injustice and the coronavirus pandemic in their effort to take back control of state legislature seats across the country.

While Democrats have had a number of victories at the state legislature level during the Trump administration, they have continuously lagged Republicans since the Obama presidency.

However, the party feels that they will be able to tap into the mood surrounding the nationwide protests against racial injustice and police brutality as well as the pandemic.

Democrats say they plan to highlight the roles that local and state officials can take in bringing about reforms on these critical national issues at a time when voters are keen for action.

This is almost enough to make you suspect the DNC and their minions were behind this,isn't it?

One can be forgiven for wondering why a segment of a population that has been harmed by bad Democrat police policies, would want to reward them for what the Rats are declaring "bad policing?"  Do they think Trump personally told the police that kneeling on somebody's neck while they're handcuffed is a good plan?

I suppose the most common refrain is, "Trump created the atmosphere!" but that's lazy reasoning and a cheap shot.  By that standard, there isn't an ill in the country too small to be considered "Trump's Fault."  Which, not coincidentally, is the standard template for bad news these days.  Everything is his fault, even laws Joe Biden got passed decades ago.

It's not much different than "Bush's Fault," except in intensity.
